BANJALUKA - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said today that members of the BiH Armed Forces from the ranks of Serb people inherit and maintain the tradition of the Army of Republika Srpska, thus using them for that purpose should be in the exclusive competence of a Serb BiH presidency member.

BANJALUKA - A Serb member of the BiH Presidency, Mladen Ivanic, has stated that the idea to solve the issue of engaging the 3rd Infantry /Republika Srpska/ Regiment of the BiH Armed Forces in maintaining Republika Srpska Army’s tradition by passing certain regulations within the BiH Ministry of Defence is not bad at all.

BANJALUKA - Deputy Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Boris Jerinic, has said that he supports the initiative of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik that the Serb member of the BiH Presidency decides on the engagement of members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the ranks of Serb people in maintaining tradition of the Army of Republika Srpska.

SARAJEVO - President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov stated today in Istocno Sarajevo that Georgia’s diplomatic note regarding the arrival of the South Ossetia’s delegation to Republika Srpska "proves that both him and the president of Srpska Milorad Dodik are doing everything right".

NOVI GRAD - Novi Grad marked 25 years since the killing of 56 veterans of the 4th Battalion of the Novi Grad Brigade of the Republika Srpska Army by serving memorial service, laying flowers and lighting candles.

ISTOCNO SARAJEVO - Veterans of Republika Srpska security services, members of the Istocno Sarajevo Police Administration, veterans of the Republika Srpska Army /VRS/ and representatives of the town and municipalities of Istocno Sarajevo laid wreaths at the memorial to Zoran Cvijetic, the first interior minister of the former Serbian Autonomous Region /SAO/ Romanija, who was shot dead 24 years ago in Lukavica from a sniper from Mojmilo hill.

BANJALUKA - The Republika Srpska Council of Peoples has not adopted the Bosniak Caucus's amendment to the Law on the Republika Srpska Attorney’s Office, Nada Tesanovic, the chair of the Council of Peoples, has announced.

SARAJEVO - The foreign ministers of BiH Igor Crnadak and Hungary Péter Szijjártó met today in Budapest to discuss the continuation of the European integration process in BiH after the completion of the distribution process of answers to the European Commission Questionnaire.
