BANJALUKA - The bill on foreign investments which the National Assembly is discussing on Wednesday foresees that foreign investors have the same rights and obligations as the local ones and that they can form a business entity in Srpska under the same conditions.

GRADISKA - Head of the Srpska Anti-hail Prevention Authority Tihomir Dejanovic says a pilot project will be implemented this year to procure 35 anti-hail ground generators which will be employed in the area from Kozarska Dubica to Srbac and in the direction of the Mahovljani Airpor.

ISTOCNO SARAJEVO - Councillors in Istocno Novo Sarajevo elected DNC councillor Aleksandar Glavas speaker of the local parliament on Wednesday.

BANJALUKA - SDS leader Vukota Govedarica stated Wednesday he would rather be president of Republika Srpska than a Serb member of the BiH Presidency, adding that his party’s main board will decide on the candidacy.


SARAJEVO - BiH Presidency Chair Dragan Covic received accreditation letters from the newly appointed ambassador of Nigeria to BiH, with the seat in Budapest, Eniola Olaitan Ajayi, with whom he concluded that the two countries have friendly political relations and that they do not have any outstanding issues.

SARAJEVO - BiH Minister of Human Rights and Refugees Semiha Borovac and Swedish Ambassador Anders Hagelberg signed a special agreement in support of the FIGAP 2 programme /2018-2021/ worth BAM2.9 million intended for the implementation of the Gender Action Plan and Gender Equality Law on Wednesday.

SARAJEVO - High Representative Valentin Inzko stated Wednesday he firmly believes there is no alternative to BiH’s membership of the EU and that in that regard, he welcomes the new EU strategy for the Western Balkans, which re-confirms the bloc’s commitment to the region and BiH.

SARAJEVO - In January this year BiH exported the commodities in the amount of BAM906 million, 25.4 per cent more than in the same month of 2017, and imported goods worth BAM1.255 billion, 24.2 per cent more than in January 2017, reports the Agency for Statistics.

SARAJEVO - Prosecution witness Petar Cvijanovic told the BiH Court during a trial against members of the Croatian Defence Council /HVO/ for crimes against Serbs in Orasje that Mato Zivkovic, a.k.a. Rakijica beat up the imprisoned Serb civilians in a shed in Donja Mahala on 9 May 1992 and that HVO soldiers stabbed a bayonet knife in the neck of Makso Gajic and poked Acim Cvijanovic’s eye out and cut some skin off his head.


MOSTAR - The Coordination of Serb Organisations in Mostar calls on the competent institutions to shed light on the cases of arson in which three reconstructed Serb houses in Salakovac outside Mostar were burnt to the ground, saying that it sent a bad message to the Serbs in the city.

MOSTAR - Head of the Coordination of Serb Organisations in Mostar Dusan Golo says the Mostar Serbs are angry about constant manipulation by certain parties against Serbs in the Federation of BiH, asserting that the latest example of that is the adoption of an initiative proposed by member of the FBIH House of Representatives Denis Becirovic which is nothing but petty politics.


BELGRADE - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Belgrade on Wednesday afternoon where he was welcomed by his Serbian counterpart Ivica Dacic at the Nikola Tesla Airport.

BELGRADE - Russia will keep supporting Serbia about resolving the issue of Kosovo and Metohija on the basis of the UN Security Council resolution, said the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
