BANJALUKA - The National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted urgently today the Law on Mining defining the framework for safer mining operations and stipulating conditions and methods of mineral resources exploitation, use and maintenance of mining facilities and mining projects, as well as the Law on Legalization of Illegally Built Facilities, which aims to legalize illegally built facilities as soon as possible to prevent further damage to public revenues.

BANJALUKA - The National Assembly of Republika Srpska, as the most efficient parliament in BiH, smoothly performs its constitutional jurisdiction and passes laws and other decisions in the interest of the Srpska citizens, National Assembly Speaker Nedeljko Cubrilovic said during today's talks held with Head of OHR Office Banjaluka, Marijan Berec.

SARAJEVO - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said today that the political and security situation in Srpska is stable and pointed out that the Srpska economy is growing with full social balance.

BRATUNAC - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said today that the municipalities of Bratunac and Srebrenica are strategic local communities for Srpska and that the Government will continue to invest further aiming at their development.

BRATUNAC - Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republika Srpska, Stevo Mirjanic, has pointed out that the irrigation system in Bratunac, which has been officially put into operation today, is one of the most complex and modern systems in this area so far.

BRATUNAC - Bratunac Mayor Nedeljko Mladjnovic has said that the commissioning of irrigation system in this municipality completed BAM 9.2 million worth project, and pointed out that Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik most contributed to the development of Bratunac.

BRATUNAC - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has said today that the humanitarian demining machine, which was made in the Tehnicki Remont Bratunac /Technical Overhaul Bratunac - TRB/, is a product designed in accordance with the world's highest standards and will be competitive on the European and world’s markets.

TREBINJE - The beginning of construction works on a residential facility with 48 apartments for displaced persons, beneficiaries of collective accommodation in this town, was officially announced in Trebinje, Zasad polje site, today.

BELGRADE - Judge Theodor Meron, President of the Mechanism, has handed over his ruling to Judge Jean-Claude Antoanetti at the request of General Ratko Mladic's defense team for his and two more judges exemption from the court process against former commander of the Main Staff of the Republika Srpska Army that is in the appeal stage.

BELGRADE - The Republika Srpska Government has not been consulted on the possible establishment of a regional commission to establish war crimes facts, and the question is whether such body could be objective, said Milorad Kojic, the head of the Research Centre of War, War Crimes and Tracing Missing Persons.

BELGRADE - Historian Milos Kovic warned today that in the era of globalization, double standards are present to the detriment of the Serb people, stressing that the first goal in opposing this should be peaceful liberation and unification of the Serb people including the unification of Republika Srpska and Serbia. /end/vos
