REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

 

BANJALUKA - Minister of Spatial Planning, Civil Engineering and Ecology Srebrenka Golic says the Ministry has provided around BAM1 million to the Hydrometeorological Institute of Republika Srpska in the recent period.

BANJALUKA - Minister of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation Zlatan Klokic and Minister of Science and Technology Alen Seranic presented the Dean of the University of Technology and Education from the Chinese city of Tianjin, Liu Sin, with the Plaque of St Stephen as a sign of gratitude from Srpska President Milorad Dodik for the contribution the educational institution provided in opening the Confucius Institute in Banjaluka.

SOKOLAC - The military memorial cemetery Mali Zejtinlik, where 985 veterans killed in the municipalities around Sarajevo which were controlled by the Army of Republika Srpska until the Dayton Peace Agreement was signed were buried, will be declared cultural heritage of Republika Srpska, representatives of the Entity Institute for the Protection of Cultural, Historical and Natural Heritage and the Sokolac municipality stated in a meeting on Tuesday.

BRATUNAC - Vojin Pavlovic, an independent candidate for president of Republika Srpska, told the BiH Council of Ministers Chair Denis Zvizdic that his desire for Bosnia and Herzegovina to join NATO could be feasible but without Republika Srpska which would, if it happened, accelerate the procedure of gaining autonomy and independence as a state.

BELGRADE - Head of the Belgrade-based Centre for International Cooperation Development Stevica Dedjanski says the paradox of a report of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the British Parliament House of Commons stressing decades’ long distance of the Western Balkan countries from the EU is that it is written by the UK, which is trying to impose itself as some kind of a factor, even though it is leaving the EU itself.

BELGRADE - Georgia supports Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, Georgian and Serbian prime ministers Mamuka Bakhtadze and Ana Brnabic stated in a meeting in Tbilisi on Tuesday.
