WAHINGTON - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic stated Wednesday that the presence of Srpska representatives in Washington over the 100th anniversary of raising the Serbian flag outside the White House was extremely important, and that ceremony should be the foundation for building better relations in the future.

BANJALUKA - During the talks with Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher in Washington today, Republika Srpska Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic said that Srpska is committed to peace, regional cooperation and European integration, as well as to improving relations with all who want it and who see the Srpska Government as an equal partner.

BANJALUKA – Head of the Republika Srpska Organisation of families of captured and killed soldiers and missing civilians, Nedeljko Mitrovic, told SRNA that every time the changing of Republika Srpska’s name is mentioned is a provocation and defiance of historical facts.

BANJALUKA - In the first half of the year, the Republika Srpska Labour Inspection Service issued 269 misdemeanor orders to employers in the amount of BAM 714,950 over irregularities, and submitted 22 minor offence charges to the competent courts, while the Inspection Service paid special attention to unregistered work, the Republika Srpska Labour Inspection Service told SRNA.

BANJALUKA - Socialist Party /SP/ leader Petar Djokic has said the party has the capacity to win up to 100,000 votes in the upcoming general elections, which could mean that there is one mandate in the National Assembly of Republika of Srpska to each constituency.

SARAJEVO - The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH ended today the debate on the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Excise Taxes in BiH, which would declare null and void the provision for raising the fuel prices to 18 pf per liter on February 1.
