BANJALUKA – A preliminary and independent public opinion poll conducted at the end of July among a sample of 3,209 adults in Republika Srpska shows that the SNSD-SP-DNS candidate for the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, enjoys the support of 44% of the polled in the electoral unit 1 /Prijedor/ and that the candidate of the Alliance for Change, Mladen Ivanic, enjoys the support of 25% of the polled.

BELGRADE – Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic today sent a message to the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic, saying that BiH cannot be a unitary state, and called on him to respect Republika Srpska and rights of Croats.

SOFIA – Bulgarian customs officials have seized more than 10 kg of opium, the value of which is estimated at 310,000 Euros. The opium has been discovered in a car driven by a British national /49/. /end/sg
