REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJALUKA - The director of the Republika Srpska Center for the Investigation of War and War Crimes and the Search for Missing Persons, Milorad Kojic, has said that it is important to revoke the 2004 Srebrenica Commission Report which even does not recognize the killings of 2,600 Serbs in the central Podrinje and to form a new international commission on Srebrenica which will include all events from 1992 to 1995.

BANJALUKA – The president of the Republika Srpska Organization of Families of Captured and Killed Soldiers and Missing Civilians, Nedeljko Mitrovic, has said that it is unacceptable that the FBiH make public lists of Serbian soldiers and officers who they believe are linked to war crimes in Srebrenica and added that it is impossible that 22,000 Serbs took part in the liberation of Srebrenica, and particularly not in executions of Bosniaks.

BANJALUKA – The president of the Republika Srpska Association of Women Victims of War, Bozica Zivkovic Rajilic, has told SRNA that the most important Republika Srpska institutions, primarily the Republika Srpska Parliament, must take a stand on publishing the names of Serbs from the list made by the president of the Mothers of Srebrenica Association, Munira Subasic, and that a way must be found to protect people who did nothing else but defended their bare lives.

BANJALUKA – The president of the Veterans of Republika Srpska Association, Dusko Vukotic, has told SRNA that the publishing of 22,000 names of Serbs from the list which the president of the Mothers of Srebrenica Association, Munira Subasic, in July submitted to a German prosecutor, must cause a collective reaction in Srpska.

BELGRADE – The Association “Honor of the Homeland” has announced that the Serbian people, who never in their history had so strong allies as they have today in Russia and China, must make use of it in the defense from “crazy neo-fascism” and constant threats – from leaders of self-declared Kossovo in Serbia, and from the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic, in Republika Srpska.

BANJALUKA – The Republika Srpska Minister of Education and Culture, Dane Malesevic, has said that a task force for preparing a law on Cyrillic has been formed, and that a law will be drafted carefully since Srpska wants a law which will be adopted by the Republika Srpska Parliament and which will get confirmation of its constitutionality from the Constitutional Court.

BELGRADE – The Serbian language is completely Serbian only when it is written in Cyrillic, since it is a thread that has connected almost all Serbian literacy since its beginning, says Milos Kovacevic, a professor at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade.

BANJALUKA – The Republika Srpska Minister of Education and Culture, Dane Malesevic, representatives of the Republika Srpska Directorate for Construction and Reconstruction and the EHTA-R Company today signed an agreement on the construction of a sports hall at the Petar Kocic Elementary School in Istocna Ilidza, worth a total of KM 1.185 million.

BANJALUKA – Reconstruction of pavilions “1” and “2” of the Nikola Tesla Students Center in Banjaluka should be completed by the beginning of the academic year in October, the Republika Srpska Minister of Education and Culture, Dane Malesevic, said today.

PALE – The director of the Pale Elektrodistribucija Company, Ljubomir Mrda, has told SRNA that the Bogatici – Nova hydro power plant on the River Zeljeznica will be put into operation at the beginning of September in the presence of highest Republika Srpska officials and the management of the Republika Srpska Electric Power Mixed Holding Company.

ISTOCNO SARAJEVO – The Republika Srpska Minister of the Family, Youth and Sports, Jasmina Davidovic, has said that the Republika Srpska Government paid KM 2.5 million for building infrastructure for the European Youth Olympic Festival which will be held next year in Istocno Sarajevo and Sarajevo.

MODRICA – The Old Age Home, Zenit, for 65 users, was opened today in Modrica, where 14 persons from this municipality will be employed.

BANJALUKA – The removal of around 6,000 cubic meters of floating waste from the River Vrbas, which was stopped at the eco-net in the Eco Center Bocac, should start at the end of August and will last three months. The works are estimated at KM 55,000.

BANJALUKA – The former president of the Party of United Pensioners /PUP/, Ilija Vujicic, has been excluded from the party, said PUP president Vinka Pusonja.


BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA

SARAJEVO – The European Commission today adopted a special measure worth 6 million Euros as aid to BiH in managing migration flows.

SARAJEVO – The charge d’ affairs of the German Embassy to BiH, Christian Sedat, and the project manager of the Hello Trust Organization, Alexander Mayer, signed today in Sarajevo an agreement on allocation of 190,000 Euros to mark and register arms of the BiH Armed Forces.


SERBIA

BELGRADE – Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin met with the Ambassador of China to Serbia, Li Manchang, and thanked for China’s principled position and support to Serbia regarding the issue of Kossovo and Metohija in the UN Security Council.

BELGRADE – The director of the Serbian Government’s Kossovo Office, Marko Djuric, has said that there won’t be any agreement on Kossovo and Metohija that would be detrimental for Serbs.
