BANJALUKA – Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik presented today the Governor of St. Petersburg, Georgi Poltavchenko, with the Order of Republika Srpska with Sash for extraordinary merits in developing and strengthening the economic cooperation and political relations between Srpska and Russia.

BANJALUKA – Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has said that the cooperation between St. Petersburg and Srpska is excellent and comprehensive, that it can be enlarged to include the building of power plants and health care, and announced the arrival of a delegation from St. Petersburg to Banjaluka on September 22 for the opening of the northern wing of the Republika Srpska University Clinical Center. Poltavchenko has said that he arrived in Banjaluka for the sake of continuation of cooperation with President Dodik and ministers in the Republika Srpska Government and announced for tomorrow the signing of a memorandum on completion of the construction of hydropower plant cascades, which will be done by experts from St. Petersburg.

BANJALUKA – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Banjaluka on Friday, September 21, and not on Monday, September 17, as announced, Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said today.

SARAJEVO – BiH Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov spoke today by phone about postponement of Lavrov’s visit to Sarajevo and Banjaluka due to a sudden change in his schedule, and agreed a new date for a visit, September 21.

RUDO – The director of the Republika Srpska Highways Company, Nenad Nesic, today visited Rudo Municipality and announced that he will immediately launch necessary procedures so that the construction of a new bridge that would connect Rudo and Priboj, that is, Republika Srpska and Serbia, could begin as soon as possible.

BIJELJINA – The leader of the United Srpska, Nenad Stevandic, said this evening in Bijeljina that the program goal of this party is to create 25,000 new jobs in the real sector.

BANJALUKA – Goran Selak, who is heading the list of candidates of the Socialist Party for the Republika Srpska Parliament in the constituency No. 3, has said that this party represents the future since youth have space in it for action, decision making and creating policies.

BROD – Simo Stakic, who is heading the list of candidates of the Socialist Party /SP/ for the BiH House of Representatives in the constituency No. 2, said today in Brod that the time has come to strengthen Srpska in Sarajevo, to preserve its competences and try to restore some of the seized competences.

GACKO – The candidate of the Alliance for Victory, Vukota Govedarica, said at an election rally in Gacko that the victory of this Alliance in the upcoming elections will not bring revanchism towards anyone, but will bring changes that will renew Republika Srpska.


PRISTINA – The US has always supported, as the US Embassy in Pristina says, “the sovereign right” of self-declared Kossovo to an army, but at the moment, it is focused on a progress of the Belgrade-Pristina negotiations on normalization of relations.
