ELECTIONS 2018

 

SARAJEVO - A total of 11.41 per cent of voters cast their ballots in Bosnia and Herzegovina until 11.00 o’clock and the election process is going peacefully, said the president of the Central Election Commission Branko Petric.

BANJALUKA – The state of security in polling stations and in all Republika Srpska is good, without major violations of public law and order, and so far, only two incidents have been recorded, says the Republika Srpska Ministry of Internal Affairs.

SARAJEVO – The special coordinator of the OSCE election monitoring mission in BiH, Makis Voridis, said after reviewing some polling stations in Sarajevo that the election process is going peacefully and without problems, under satisfactory security conditions.

BELGRADE – By 11:00, three voters of the registered 60 cast their ballots in a polling station in the BiH Embassy in Belgrade, the only one in Serbia in the BiH general elections, the president of the election commission in that polling station, Mirjana Ostojic, told SRNA.

BANJALUKA – By 11:00, 33,716 voters /17.98%/ cast their ballots in the area of Banjaluka, the president of the City Election Commission, Nada Batinar, told SRNA.

BIJELJINA – By 11:00, 19,500 voters /18.34%/ cast their ballots in Bijeljina, said Dijana Savic Bozic, a member of the City Election Commission.

TREBINJE – By 11:00, 6,687 voters /23%/ cast their ballots in Trebinje, says the City Election Commission.

KOZARSKA DUBICA – By 11:00, 3,651 voters /15.64%/ cast their ballots in the area of Kozarska Dubica Municipality, the president of the Municipal Election Commission, Stojan Krnjajic, told SRNA.

DERVENTA – By 11:00, 3,852 voters /12.58%/ cast their ballots in the area of Derventa Municipality, sources from the Derventa Municipal Commission told SRNA.

CAJNICE – By 11:00, 850 voters /21.42%/ cast their ballots in Cajnice Municipality, sources from the Municipal Election Commission told SRNA.

SREBRENICA – By 11:00, 1,728 voters /16.6%/ cast their ballots in Srebrenica Municipality, the president of the Municipal Election Commission, Sead Alic, told SRNA.

ISTOCNO SARAJEVO – By 11:00, 555 voters /31.84%/ cast their ballots in the area of Kalinovik Municipality.


DOBOJ – The Doboj Police Administration has announced that no tear gas was thrown into the polling station in the St. Sava Elementary School in Pridjel, as some media outlets reported.

BRCKO – By 11:00, 8,590 voters /13.46%/ cast their ballots in Brcko District, the president of the District Election Commission, Andrea Mrkonjic, has said.

LAKTASI – The candidate of the SNSD-DNS-SP Coalition for the Republika Srpska member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, has said that he expects a great election victory and that the people who can elect their government in democratic elections are happy people. /EMBARGOED UNTIL 19:00/

BANJALUKA – Twenty-two members of special units for protection from radiological, chemical and biological hazards and for protection and rescue on and under the water of the Republika Srpska Civil Protection Administration will take part in an international training exercise Serbia 2018, which starts today in Belgrade.
