2018 ELECTIONS

SARAJEVO - New results of the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH have confirmed Milorad Dodik, Sefik Dzaferovic and Zeljko Komsic’s lead for the seats in the BiH Presidency after processing the ballot papers from 98.71 percent of polling stations.

SARAJEVO - SNSD candidate for Republika Srpska president, Zeljka Cvijanovic, is still in the lead ahead of the candidate of the Alliance for Victory, Vukota Govedarica, show the latest data from the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH, after processing 2,122, or 92.77%, out of 2,240 polling stations.

SARAJEVO - For the Republika Srpska National Assembly, based on 95.4% of so far processed ballots, the SNSD leads with 199.354 or 32.11% votes, ahead of the SDS with 115,429 or 18,59% and DNS with 92.062 or 14.83% votes.

SARAJEVO - For the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, the SDA won 210,901 or 25.57 percent, followed by the SDP with 121,471 or 14.73 percent, and a coalition gathered around the HDZ BiH won 116,314 votes or 14.1%, show the first incomplete results of general elections announced by the Central Election Commission of BiH in the afternoon.

SARAJEVO - According to the preliminary results of the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH, the Serb List won the second place in the Livno Canton, and the SDA won the most votes for the assemblies of Sarajevo, Tuzla, Una-Sana, Zenica-Doboj, the Central Bosnia and the Bosnia-Podrinje cantons.

BANJALUKA - Republika Srpska National Assembly Deputy Speaker, Nenad Stevandic, has said that the Alliance for Victory /SzP/ intend to provoke a crisis because election results are not in their favour.

BANJALUKA - PDP Leader Branislav Borenovic has announced there is no discussion with any political party, which refuses to accept this party’s "agenda" that, among other things, refers to determining the "actual citizens’ electoral will" and amendments to the Electoral Law in order to enable "true fair elections".

BANJALUKA - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik says that the SNSD and coalition partners are forming a parliamentary majority, and stresses that the coalition will not accept the participation of those who worked against its interest during the elections, and are the members of it.

BELGRADE - Unknown perpetrators attacked the Prizren Health Centre’s clinique in the village of Novaka and caused material damage, the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija has announced.

BELGRADE - Vladimir Kecmanovic, a writer, received today the Ivo Andric literary award for the story of "War Games", published in the book "Like in a mirror room".
