PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE FINALLY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT SERBS WERE KILLED, TOO

 

BANJALUKA, October 11 /SRNA/ - Head of the Alliance of Former Prison Camp Detainees, Branislav Dukic, told SRNA that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, by raising an indictment against the war commander of the Fifth Corps of the BiH Army, Atif Dudakovic, finally acknowledges that the Serbs were killed during the tragic conflict in BiH, and that war crimes were committed against Serbs as well, as they were committed against two other peoples.

 

Dukic has stated that the Serb prison camp detainees welcomed the decision of the BiH Prosecutor's Office to issue an indictment against Dudakovic and 16 others for war crimes against Serbs in the Krajina region in 1995.

"We expect the Court of BiH to soon confirm the indictment against Dudakovic and the other 16 persons," Dukic has said.

The BiH Prosecutor's Office issued an indictment against Dudakovic and another 16 commanders and members of the Fifth Corps of the so-called BiH Army for crimes committed against Serb civilians and prisoners of war in the Krajina region.

The indictees are charged with crimes against humanity involving the killing of more than 300 Serbs, persecution and abuse of civilians and prisoners of war, as well as the destruction of 38 orthodox churches and religious facilities, the Prosecutor’s Office has announced.

The accused are Atif Dudakovic, Ekrem Dedic, Sanel Sabic, Ibrahim Siljedic AKA Siljo, Safet Salihagic, Adis Zjakic, Hasan Ruznic, Redzep Zlojic, Samir Solakovic, Fatmir Muratovic, Muharem Alesevic, Husein Balagic, Ale Hodzic AKA Pumparica, Edin Domazet, Ejub Kozenjic AKA Ejko and Sesirdzija, Ibrahim Nadarevic and Said Mujic.


They are charged with crimes against humanity committed in the municipalities of Petrovac, Kljuc, Krupa on Uni, Sanski Most and war crimes against civilians in the municipalities of Bihac and Cazin. /end/vos
