2018 ELECTIONS

SARAJEVO – Head of the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH, Branko Petric, says that approximately 63,000 packages with voting material from voters registered to vote by mail, out of 77,000 voters by mail, were received from abroad.

SARAJEVO - The Central Election Commission /CEC/ issued a decision today to punish SDS list and its candidates, Nebojsa Vukanovic and Dragan Mektic, as well as Slavko Mitrovic, the adviser to Republika Srpska President, Milorad Dodik, over hate speech.

MOSCOW - Russia positively evaluates the elections held in BiH, and Moscow counts on quick formation of government in order to continue the social and economic stabilisation process in the country, said Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

BANJALUKA - The elected Serb presidency member, Milorad Dodik, believes it would be decent for all candidates who won the election for the BiH Presidency seats to abstain from commenting and strong words before the Presidency is formed.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated today he wants to build relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina responsibly, adding that sometimes, anent the statement by newly elected Croat member of the BiH Presidency, Zeljko Komsic, that Kosovo is independent for him, is better to remain silent.

REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJALUKA - The Government of Republika Srpska today agreed on the proposed criteria and institutions, which the members for the Commission to investigate suffering of all nations in the Srebrenica region between 1992 and 1995 and the Commission to investigate suffering of Serbs in Sarajevo between 1991 and 1995 will be selected from.

BANJALUKA - Director of the Vrbanja Forest Farm in Kotor Varos, Daliborka Kerezovic Damjanovic, has been dismissed today, and Stana Kuzmic has been appointed acting company director, confirmed Risto Maric, General Manager of the Republika Srpska Forests company.

SARAJEVO - The BiH Prosecutor's Office has issued an indictment against General Atif Dudakovic and 16 other commanders and members of the Fifth Corps of the so-called BiH Army for crimes committed against Serb civilians and prisoners of war in the Krajina region.

BANJALUKA - Head of the Republika Srpska Research Centre of War, War Crimes and Tracing Missing Persons, Milorad Kojic, expects the Court of BiH to confirm the indictment against Atif Dudakovic and 16 commanders and members of the 5th Corps of the so-called BiH Army for crimes committed against Serb civilians and prisoners of war, on the basis of extensive indictment and evidence.

BANJALUKA - Head of the Alliance of Former Prison Camp Detainees, Branislav Dukic, told SRNA that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, by raising an indictment against the war commander of the 5th Corps of the BiH Army, Atif Dudakovic, finally acknowledges that the Serbs were killed during the tragic conflict in BiH, and that war crimes were committed against Serbs as well, as they were committed against two other peoples.

BANJALUKA - Head of the Republika Srpska Association of Women Victims of War, Bozica Zivkovic Rajilic, believes that an indictment against Atif Dudakovic and another 16 members and commanders of the 5th Corps of the so-called Army of BiH for crimes against Ser civilians and prisoners of war will result in a fair trial, that their crimes will be proven and that they will get the punishment they deserve.

BANJALUKA - Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly, Nedeljko Cubrilovic, is of the opinion that an indictment against Atif Dudakovic and another 16 members and commanders of the 5th Corps of the so-called BiH Army should have been filed much earlier as there is plenty of evidence, testimonies and video recordings on the horrific crimes they committed against innocent Serb civilians, but also against the soldiers who surrendered or were captured.

BANJALUKA - Head of the War Veterans Organisation of Republika Srpska /BORS/, Milomir Savcic, expects the Court of BiH to confirm an indictment against Atif Dudakovic and another 16 commanders and members of the 5th Corps of the so-called BiH Army for crimes committed against Serbs, and sentenced them to maximum jail time.

BANJALUKA - The Steering Committee of the Indirect Taxation Authority /ITA/ of BiH adopted at today's session in Mostar a decision according to which, the minimum excise duties on a pack of cigarettes will amount to BAM 2.86 instead of current 2,6, and the excise duties on tobacco will amount to BAM 114.4 per kilogram, instead of the current BAM 104 as January 1 next year.

SARAJEVO - The HDZ mayors of the municipalities of Grude, Capljina and Posusje, Ljubo Grizelj, Smiljan Vidic and Branko Bago, have declared the newly elected Croat member of the BiH Presidency, Zeljko Komsici, an undesirable person in their municipalities.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic attended the beginning of the construction of the cable factory of the Leoni German Company in Kraljevo today, in which EUR 60 million will be invested and 5,000 workers will be employed.

BELGRADE – Doxologia was served today in honor of John the 10th, Patriarch of Antioch and of All the East, who is in an official visit to His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia and the Serbian Orthodox Church /SPC/, in the Church of Holy Archangel Michael in Belgrade.
