PRIORITY - VALENTIN INZKO’S DEPARTURE

BANJALUKA, November 8 /SRNA/ - A newly-elected BiH Presidency member from Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, said today that his top priority would be the departure of High Representative, Valentin Inzko, as he is a schemer who was telling untruths and was unjustifiably slandering Srpska at the UN Security Council’s session.

"I do not know whether I will succeed in it. Inzko cannot be a talk partner, since he compared Srpska with Hitler's regime, which I said before. I will not meet with him until he apologizes to Republika Srpska," Dodik told journalists in Banjaluka.

He has pointed out that, as a BiH Presidency member, he will do everything to explain what the high representatives did in BiH, who imposed 560 decisions with legal force, thus created a new system in BiH.

"They are impudent fellows that led to blaming internal relations in BiH, while they created a completely new system. Inzko can be hypocritical when he goes to the UN Security Council and identifies various events in Srpska as the biggest problems, but did not find it appropriate to say that the judicial system was created by a high representative, which does not work," added Dodik.

He has noted that Incko is now talking about the application of Bonn powers.

"Let him apply them, so let's see who will accept them here. I call on the people in BiH to reject the high representative's measures because they have not created a functioning system. BiH got stuck in problems due to imposed decisions, therefore we must sit down together; I call on colleagues in the BiH Presidency and partners at the BiH level to open up every issue and see what the best solution is. If we fail to do this, it will not be beneficial for Serbs, Bosniaks and Croats," Dodik said.

He claims that corruption at BiH level is terrible, especially in the Complaints Commission.

"More important is to have a member of this commission than to be in certain position. I do not ask for this to be adjusted to me, but to all people in BiH. The Law on Public Procurement needs to be abolished and the law that is best in the European countries needs to be passed. We have a lot of work to do and I do not see any intervention by a high representative. We will have to clear up the untruths Inzko said in the UN Security Council publically," Dodik has said.

He has reiterated that he is going to represent Republika Srpska at the level of BiH. "It would be good to reach agreements on many things at the BiH level, but never at the expense of Republika Srpska," Dodik has said. /end/vos
