2018 ELECTIONS

SARAJEVO - The Party of Democratic Action /SDA/ advocates the formation of a stable parliamentary majority at all levels of government in BiH that consisted of the winning parties.

SARAJEVO - At today’s meeting on forming the power in the Sarajevo Canton, the representatives of six parties, excluding the SDA, expressed their commitment to the coalition on programme principles and the expectation that the Cantonal Assembly to be formed by November 16.

REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

PRIJEDOR - The Trade Union Organisation of Prijedor's ArcelorMittal is opposing the sale of capital in the Iron Ore Mines /RZR/ "Ljubija" and is demanding safe and long-term process of mining in this region to be provided onwards, Head of Trade Union Organization "ArcelorMittal", Sasa Kukolj, stated today.

BANJALUKA - An international arrest warrant has been issued today against Nedeljko Dukic, another suspect for the physical attack on BN television journalist, Vladimir Kovacevic, the Interior Ministry of Republika Srpska told SRNA.

BIJELJINA - A cultural event the Days of Filip Visnjic /Visnjicevi Dani/, which marked numerous anniversaries of Serb history, literature and culture with its rich four-day programme, ended today in Bijeljina by awarding the best writers, reciters and story tellers.

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

SARAJEVO - SNSD Deputy Leader Nikola Spiric has said that open issues must be discussed in BiH and stressed that he supports internal dialogue, without interference of any foreign country.

SARAJEVO - In the continuation of the trial of the commander of the Interior Ministry of then BH’s Special Unit, Dragan Vikic, and the other three persons charged with the killing of captured JNA members on April 22, 1992 in Sarajevo, a former member of the platoon securing the JNA House, Emir Dugalic, stated that somebody told him to leave stand guard so they could throw the bodies into the van that arrived.

SERBIA

BELGRADE - A joint meeting between of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, the self-proclaimed Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogerini, began in Brussels within the framework of the dialogue on the normalization of Belgrade - Pristina relations. Vucic met Mogerini earlier in Brussels, who mediates in the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue.

BELGRADE - At a session of the Government of Serbia, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic requested today to prepare the text of a letter in the shortest possible time, which will point out the decisions and behavior of the institutions in Pristina and will be sent to the presidents of the governments of all countries in the world.

BELGRADE - President of the Serbian Parliament's Committee on Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun, has commented on the statement by the Prime Minister of the self-proclaimed Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, on forming a "Kosovo Army" regiment in the north of the province, that the formation has already had plans to act against the Serb people in the north of Kosovo.

REGION

ZAGREB - The Zagreb County Court has ordered investigative detention to the founder of Agrokor, Ivica Todoric, for the risk of escape, while the defence team has announced to appeal.

SKOPJE - Former Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski remains free, although he was due to start serving two years of imprisonment as of today. /end/vos
