BANJALUKA – Nebojsa Zgonjanin was elected the secretary-general of the Republika Srpska Parliament. Members of the Republika Srpska Parliament today in Banjaluka elected 28 members of the Republika Srpska Council of Peoples.

BIJELJINA – The Republika Srpska Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Dragan Bogdanic, has said that children’s and social protection have been one of the priorities of the Republika Srpska Government and stressed that a great progress was made in this field in the past four years.

BIJELJINA – A review of ethnological film began this evening in the Semberija Museum in Bijeljina. It has been organized for the 9th time in cooperation with the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade.

SARAJEVO - The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, has said that he told the Deputy Assistant US Secretary of State, Matthew Palmer, that Republika Srpska representatives in joint institutions must act within the framework of the Republika Srpska Parliament’s Resolution on Military Neutrality and that it would be the best for BiH to start a demilitarization process.

SARAJEVO – The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, today walked out of a meeting between BiH Presidency members and the Deputy Assistant US Secretary of State, Matthew Palmer, SRNA has learned.

SARAJEVO - The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, has said that a session of the BiH Presidency will be held on Wednesday, December 12, and that it can be held in the Presidency building in Sarajevo if an agreement is reached on displaying the Republika Srpska flag, or he will propose that a session be held as a video conference.

SARAJEVO – The Steering Board of the Peace Implementation Council /PIC/ appealed to political leaders to adopt acts in connection with forming the FBiH House of Peoples, to resolve without any further delay the election impasse in Mostar where citizens have been deprived of their right to elect local representatives for more than ten years and to implement the decision in the Sejdic-Finci case and similar decisions of the European Court of Human Rights.

SARAJEVO – Russia did not support a communiqué issued after a meeting of political directors of member states of the Peace Implementation Council as it does not accept a tendentious assessment of the situation in BiH, says a press release from the Russian Embassy in BiH issued this evening.

SARAJEVO – The High Representative to BiH, Valentin Inzko, has said that central topics of a two-day meeting of the Peace Implementation Council were general elections, the implementation of election results and formation of governments, and concluded that the government formation in Republika Srpska is much faster than in the FBiH.

ISTOCNO SARAJEVO – The Chairman of the Advisory Board of the BiH Missing Persons Institute, Marko Grabovac, has said that the greatest problem of this institution is the identification of mortal remains which sometimes is waited for many years, which cannot be justified.

BELGRADE – Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin has said that Kossovo Albanians are already in Iraq and Syria and everywhere where there are terrorists of Al Qaeda and the Islamic State, and that this is why the Prime Minister of self-declared Kossovo, Ramus Haradinaj, should not be allowed to form an army.

BELGRADE – Serbian Justice Minister Nela Kuburovic has said that the Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade responds to all Pristina’s requests and that it has been waiting for eight months for information and evidence in connection with the assassination of the leader of the Freedom, Democracy, Justice Civil Initiative, Oliver Ivanovic.

BELGRADE – The former head of the economic unit in the International Civilian Office in Kossovo and Metohija, Andrea Lorenzo, says that self-declared Kossovo will not get army on December 14, saying that this is a linguistic issue.

BELGRADE – Serbia is in the 31st place when it comes to the number of countries where its citizens can travel visa free. They can travel to 126 countries without visas, and they get visas immediately upon arrival in 43 countries, says the Passportindex.org.
