SARAJEVO, January 11 /SRNA/ - Croatian Ambassador to BiH Ivan Del Vechio told SRNA that he was summoned to Zagreb for consultations by Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Marija Pejcinovic Buric, and will return to Sarajevo on Monday, January 14.

I will return to Sarajevo on Monday. I have nothing to add to yesterday's statement by Minister Pejcinovic Buric," Del Vechio said briefly.

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia announced yesterday that Buric summoned Del Vechio to Zagreb for consultations at the request of the Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic.

Buric has said that the Croatian ambassador to BiH made the wrong decision for going to Banjaluka, as "he interpreted it as an invitation of the BiH Presidency Chairman."

Apart from HDZ BiH leader Dragan Covic, the HDZ BiH officials Vjekoslav Bevanda, Davor Cordas, Josip Jerkovic and Josip Grubes were also in attendance at the Republika Srpska Day in Banjaluka on January 9.

The HDZ BiH announced yesterday that the attendance of Croat authority representatives in the ceremony marking the Republika Srpska Day has become a tool for a clash with the Croats in BiH, especially with the legitimate Croat representative and HDZ BiH Leader, Dragan Covic.

The announcement reads that the "spin propaganda" that followed the attendance of Croat representatives at the marking of the Republika Srpska Day in Banjaluka is an obvious example of everything that the political and media elite based in Sarajevo has become. /end/vos
