BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA

SARAJEVO – BiH Presidency member Zeljko Komsic and the Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers in a caretaking capacity, Denis Zvizdic, most vehemently condemned the killing of Mahir Begic, a police officer of the Federal Police Administration, in Suhodol near Tarcin, noting that this was an attack on the state.

SARAJEVO – The consortium of producers of police and military equipment of BiH, which gathers nine companies, asked the director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, Mirsad Vilic, to respect and enforce laws and stop favoring importing companies to the detriment of the domestic economy.

SARAJEVO – The Sarajevo Canton Government is considering to offer an award for information which would lead to the arrest of the killer of Mahir Begic, a police officer of the Federal Police Administration, the Sarajevo Canton Minister of Internal Affairs, Admir Katica, said today in Sarajevo.

BELGRADE, VRSAC – Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has said that Serbia lodged a note of protest with Croatia over the attack on Serbian water polo players in Split.

BELGRADE – The president of the Alliance of Serbs from the Region, Miodrag Linta, says that a brutal attack on water polo players of the Belgrade Red Star in Split is a hate crime and not hooliganism.
