BIJELJINA - The route of the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway should pass several km from the center of Bijeljina and connect roads to Ugljevik, Zvornik, and Sabac across Bogatic on the Pavolvica road, concluded representatives of local communities of the Semberija-Majevica and Zvornik regions at a meeting held on Thursday in Bijeljina.

ZVORNIK - The managing board of the Alumina Company of Zvornik announced on Thursday that false information published about this company harm its reputation and operations.


BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA

SARAJEVO - The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, and the Ambassador of Qatar to BiH, Sultan el Hater, said on Thursday that relations between the two countries are good, but that there is room for improvement, particularly in the economy.

SARAJEVO - The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, and the secretary-general of the Regional Cooperation Council /RCC/, Majlinda Bregu, concluded on Thursday in Sarajevo that it is necessary to make additional efforts which would lead to better connections in the region and to find a solution to the problem of emigration of youth from the Western Balkans.

SARAJEVO - BiH Presidency member Sefik Dzaferovic and the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliev, agreed at a meeting in Baku that there is room to additionally improve the already good relations between the two countries, particularly in the economy.

SARAJEVO - The caretaker BiH Foreign Minister, Igor Crnadak, expressed the hope that the BiH authorities, assisted by the OSCE and the EU, will take into account by the next elections recommendations from the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights /ODIHR/ so that citizens would be able to elect their representatives to government bodies freely and without any pressure.

DRVAR - The construction of two 55-apartment buildings is expected to start in October in Drvar as part of the project to close collective centers and alternative accommodations by way of public housing solutions, CEB 2, and young married couples with children will have the advantage when allocating apartments, acting Drvar Mayor Dusica Runic told SRNA.

DRVAR - Talks on establishing a social protection center began on Thursday in Drvar, which, along with Bosansko Grahovo, is the only municipality in Livno Canton that does not have this institution, the acting Drvar Mayor, Dusica Runic, told SRNA.

TUZLA - As part of the flood recovery program in the BiH, 12 agreements were signed on Thursday in the Tuzla City Administration. Two agreements pertain to repairs of houses and ten to the construction of new houses.


SERBIA

BELGRADE - The Ambassador of Russia to Serbia, Alexander Chepurin, said that the deliveries of Russian natural gas to Serbia by way of the Turkish Stream will start in 2020.

BELGRADE - The Russian Ambassador to Serbia, Alexander Chepurin, says that the Pristina platform is an ultimatum and a fantasy which has nothing to do with the reality, and represents a clear rejection of the dialogue with Belgrade.

BELGRADE - The Serbian Minister of Defense, Aleksandar Vulin, says he disagrees with the intention to reduce the number of KFOR troops, adding that this would have a negative impact on the security of non-Albanian population in Kossovo and Metohija.

ZAGREB - Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic assessed as unfounded the statement by the caretaker BiH Minister of Security, Dragan Mektic, that the Croatian Security-Intelligence Agency attempted to engage members of the Salafi movement to transfer arms and explosives to BiH. /end/sg
