BAKOČ: OFFICE IN DRVAR WILL CONTRIBUTE TO REINFORCEMENT OF CONTACTS BETWEEN SERBS AND MOTHERLAND

 

MOSTAR, April 15 /SRNA/ - Marija Bakoč, the consul in the Consulate General of Serbia in Mostar, says the Consular Office, which will be opened in Drvar on Tuesday, will contribute to the further development of good neighborly relations between BiH and Serbia, as well as to the reinforcement of the contacts between the Serbs and the motherland within the cooperation between economic, scientific, cultural, information and sports organisations.

 

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, through its diplomatic missions and consular sections, and thus through the Serbian Consulate General in Mostar, attaches great importance to the relations with the Serbs in the region, which is supported by the implementation of numerous projects contributing to the preservation of the national identity, language, culture and customs" said Bakoč.

She added that the consular section in Drvar will also contribute in this regard.

The Government of Serbia made the decision to open an office in Drvar.

The consular office will be officially opened in Drvar on Tuesday by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Veljko Odalović.

The consular office of the Consulate General of Serbia in Mostar, with the head office in Drvar, will be officially opened at 13:00 hrs in the Radnički Dom building. /end/vos
