BANJALUKA, April 18 /SRNA/ - The National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted on Thursday the Law on Amendments to the Law on Salaries of Employees in the Srpska Interior Ministry in an urgent procedure, which stipulates that police officers holding secondary school and higher education diploma will be granted an additional compensation of 10 percent of the average salary in the MoI, realized in the previous month. The Assembly also adopted the Law on Amendments to the Law on Local Self-Government, which extends the deadline for harmonization of the number of employees in local self-governments by 30 June 2021. The Assembly also adopted the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Police and Internal Affairs, which establishes the formal-legal requirements for the establishment of a reserve police force.

BANJALUKA, April 18 /SRNA/ - Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska Dragan Lukač stated Thursday in Banjaluka he had agreed with heads of caucuses in the National Assembly to revoke a provision from the draft law on amendments to the Law on Public Order about unauthorised taking of photos and making of videos of police officers, which journalists found disputable.

BANJALUKA, April 18 /SRNA/ - President of the Association of Families of Missing Persons of Sarajevo-Romanija Region, Milan Mandić, and Head of the Missing Persons Institute of Istočno Sarajevo Srpko Batinić visited the cemetery in the Sarajevo’s settlement of Stup after learning that seven to eight Serb soldiers were buried in the Orthodox part of the cemetery during the war.

DRVAR, April 18 /SRNA/ - Head of the Initiative Board of the Umbrella Association of Serbs in Federation of BiH, Mile Marčeta told SRNA that representatives of the FBiH Ministry of Culture and Sports should visit Serb returnee municipalities, where most sporting and cultural facilities were destroyed and help them restore.
