EUROPEAN INTEGRATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH SRPSKA CONSTITUTION AND CONSTITUTIONAL ORDER OF BiH

 

BANJALUKA, June 11 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Radovan Višković briefed on Tuesday Czech Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek on Republika Srpska Government’s commitment to European integration in accordance with the constitutional and legal position of Republika Srpska and the constitutional order of BiH.

 

During the meeting in East Sarajevo, Višković presented a position on recently published European Commission’s opinion on BiH's application for EU membership, and stressed that the content of the document had incomplete information and that certain fields were processed in an unprofessional manner, announced the Public Relations Office of the Republika Srpska Government.

Current political and economic issues, with a focus on the European integration process in BiH, were discussed in the meeting.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the migrant crisis, and stressed that the Czech Republic expressed its readiness to provide support in overcoming this problem in BiH, the statement reads.

It is jointly assessed that the establishment of economic cooperation is among the priorities and a good prerequisite for mutual understanding and appreciation.

Višković thanked for the support provided by the Czech Embassy in BiH to establish cooperation between Republika Srpska and Hradec Kralove, which is framed by a signed memorandum of cooperation, the statement reads.

The meeting was also attended by Minister of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska Petar Đokić and Minister for European Integration and International Cooperation Zlatan Klokić. /end/vos
