OHR PERSISTENTLY FORGING TRUTH

BELGRADE, July 12 /SRNA/ - The fact that the OHR needs political conditions to come to a commemoration for Serbian victims confirms that the OHR has been biased and that it is captured in a propaganda of the Muslim side, and is persistently forging the truth, Darko Mladić, the son of the former Chief of Staff of the Republika Srpska Army, said on Friday.

Commenting on the OHR’s response to SRNA’s question as to why the High Representative to BiH Valentin Inzko does not attend commemorations for Serbian victims, but only for Bosniak ones, which among others things, says that the OHR will do it “when certain speakers at some of these commemorations stop negating genocide in Srebrenica,” Darko Mladić has said that this is pure insolence.

“So, they have their justification as to why they are discriminating against victims. In other words, they say that the Serbian victims are worth less than the Muslim victims and that there are political conditions in order for them to recognize Serbian victims. This is pure insolence,” Darko Mladić said.

He has said that the truth cannot be defended by laws announced by Inzko.

“If their truth /about Srebrenica/ is so firm, if it is the real truth, it would not need any law or methods of coercion. On the one hand, they are negating our victims to such extent that 24 years after the war in BiH they need political conditions to come to a commemoration for our victims,” Mladić said.

Regarding Inzko’s statement that Darko’s father – Gen. Ratko Mladić himself said that “genocide is happening” in BiH reacting to the statement by Radovan Karadžić on ethnic cleansing in 1992, Darko Mladić has said that that which Inzko said is “a method used by both the ICTY and its derivatives such as Inzko.”

“This was not in that context, nor was this comment in response to Karadžić’s words, but was, as far as I know, in response to some irresponsible appearances by members of the Republika Srpska Parliament, and not to the policy of the Republika Srpska leadership,” Darko Mladić said.

He has said that Inzko interpreted it wrongly.

“They are trying everything to prevent the truth from coming out. The truth cannot be defended by laws. The truth is stronger than any law,” Darko Mladić said.

The OHR has said that it will start seriously considering to raise their presence at commemorations for innocent Serbian victims in Podrinje to a higher level when conditions are right – “when certain speakers at /certain/ commemorations stop negating genocide in Srebrenica, glorifying war criminals, spreading hate speech and speaking against BiH.”

This was in response to SRNA’s question as to why the High Representative to BiH Valentin Inzko did not attend a commemoration for Serbs killed in Podrinje on Saturday in Bratunac and will he attend a commemoration in Zalazje near Srebrenica where respects will be paid to Serbian civilians and soldiers killed on July 12, 1992 in that and surrounding Srebrenica villages, and on the basis of what he differentiates between the Serbian and Bosniak victims, which one can conclude based on his failure to attend commemorations for Serbian victims.

The OHR says that all innocent civilian victims and their families deserve justice and respect, regardless of their religious or ethnic affiliation, claiming that they do not differentiate between innocent victims, Bosniaks, Croats or Serbs or their families.

“Furthermore, an OHR representative attended a religious part of the commemoration in Bratunac, and will also attend a commemoration in Zalazje,” says the OHR in its response. /end/sg
