TESLIĆ, September 11 /SRNA/ - President of Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović stated Wednesday in Teslić that the Vrućica Spa is a jewel that draws attention and that by the quality of its services it can compete with institutions of its type in Europe. Addressing a formal event marking the centennial of the spa, she expressed pleasure to have a chance
to follow its path of development. The Health and Tourism Centre Vrućica Spa outside Teslić celebrated 100 years of operations with a formal event where letters of acknowledgement were handed out.

TESLIĆ, September 11 /SRNA/ - Prime Minister Radovan Višković said the Health and Tourism Centre Vrućica Spa, which is marking its 100th anniversary, will be supported by the Government. “This is a proper example of successful privatisation of a potential, a jewel of Republika Srpska, that we have such capacities today, more than 400 employees, over 230,000 overnight stays in a year, a considerable number of foreign tourists,” Višković stated at the formal event.

TESLIĆ, September 11 /SRNA/ - Today the Health and Tourism Centre Vrućica Spa is a leader in health, congress, sports and leisure and wellness tourism in Republika Srpska and regional countries, thanks to the constant support of Srpska institutions, said its director Dragan Bogdanić. Bogdanić stated on Wednesday evening that activities towards improving the capacities of the institution, which primarily provides medical rehabilitation and is a centre for rest and recreation, would continue.

SARAJEVO, September 11 /SRNA/ - The FBiH House of Representatives made conclusions on Wednesday ordering a restructuring of coal mines in the entity and requesting the Transco Elektriprivreda BiH to analyse capabilities of every coal mine, sustainability of coal exploitation, and to propose a closure of unviable plants and taking care of workers.


BELGRADE, September 11 /SRNA/ - A music caravan “Most Beautiful Folk Songs” organised by the public broadcaster RTS has entered Kosovo after being held at the Jarinje administrative crossing for 25 hours. Prior to that, the Journalists’ Association of Serbia /UNS/ and the Kosovo UNS as well as the RTS sent protest notes to the authorities in Priština in charge of observing the procedure related to crossing administrative crossings with respect to the ban to the music caravan to enter the province.


ZAGREB, September 11 /SRNA/ - Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović sent a letter to the leader of the Independent Democratic Serbian Party /SDSS/ Milorad Pupovac saying she is closely following his public appearances in which, she said, he “criticises Croatia in a totally inappropriate, unacceptable and malevolent way”. In the meantime, the Initiative of Defenders from Petrinja on Wednesday lodged a report against Pupovac to the State Prosecutor’s Office charging him with “the criminal offence of harming the Republic of Croatia’s reputation by publicly comparing Croatia with the Independent State of Croatia,” Croatian media reported. /end/dš
