BANJALUKA, DECEMBER 6 /SRNA/ - A ceremonial promotion of 322 cadets of the 20th class of the Police Training Unit of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Academy was held today at the Training Center in Zalužani outside Banjaluka.

BANJALUKA, DECEMBER 6 /SRNA/ - President of Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović stated on Friday that new generations joining the Ministry of Internal Affairs /MIA/ give extra strength to the institution as well as the entire Srpska, given MIA’s role in the protection of the constitutional order and people’s lives and property.

BANJALUKA, DECEMBER 6 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Internal Affairs Minister Dragan Lukač said today that 322 young police officers who completed education and training at the Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Academy will be deployed next week all over Srpska to do the policing job and take care of the security of Republika Srpska and its citizens.

SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 6 /SRNA/ - A return of BiH citizens from Syria that was planned for tomorrow has been postponed for sudden and unforeseen circumstances in that Middle East country, the Council of Ministers in a caretaking capacity said today.

SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 6 /SRNA/ - Caretaker BiH Security Minister Dragan Mektić has told SRNA that an adequate location is being sought for women and children who should be deported from Syria to BiH most probably tomorrow.

SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 6 /SRNA/ - The Council of Ministers in a caretaking capacity today adopted a decree on dismissing the director of the BiH State Investigation and Protection Agency /SIPA/, Perica Stanić, and deputy director Đuro Knežević will assume duties and responsibilities of the director until the new director is appointed.

BANJALUKA, DECEMBER 6 /SRNA/ - The Executive Committee of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats /SNSD/ today in Banjaluka held its third session where there was a discussion about the formation of bodies at the level of BiH. The Executive Committee gave full support to Chairman of the Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija in conducting consultations with other political parties, primarily with coalition partners from Republika Srpska.

BANJALUKA, DECEMBER 6 /SRNA/ - President of the Alliance of Serbian Associations "Zavičaj" Brane Pećanac has said that many issues on which resolution the survival of few Serbs in the Federation of BiH /FBiH/ depends will be discussed at an annual session of the Alliance that will be held tomorrow.

SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 6 /SRNA/ - The Croatian Caucus in the Assembly of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton says that illegal migrants are being relocated within BiH without any strategy or coordination and that the departing ministers at the level of BiH by their moves are creating problems in other Cantons, the same problems as have existed for months in the Una-Sana Canton.

BELGRADE, DECEMBER 6 /SRNA/ - Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić said today that the issue of defense of the territorial integrity was Serbia’s crucial foreign policy priority while the issue of Kosovo and Metohija was the greatest security and political challenge.

NOVI SAD, DECEMBER 6 /SRNA/ - All health institutions in Vojvodina, that are within the competence of the provincial government, will be open for all Republika Srpska citizens, as was the case until now, Vojvodina Health Secretary Zoran Gojković said today in Novi Sad.

BELGRADE, DECEMBER 6 /SRNA/ - Chairman of the Serbian Parliament’s Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region Miodrag Linta has assessed as scandalous and anti-European Croatia’s intention to continue to prosecute Gen. Borislav Đukić, and called on the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to lodge a note of protest with Zagreb and ask for Đukić's extradition to Belgrade. /end/sg
