BELGRADE, FEBRUARY 28 /SRNA/ - A solemn reception was held this evening in Belgrade on the occasion of the Republika Srpska Day and the 28th anniversary of the first Republika Srpska Constitution which was attended by Republika Srpska and Serbian officials. Serb BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik said this evening in Belgrade that Republika Srpska was proof of freedom and desire of the Serbian people to live in peace and that this was why it has been under constant attacks. Republika Srpska President Željka Cvijanović said this evening in Belgrade that there had been many temptations, challenges, but also nice things, many achieved results in the past 28 years since the adoption of the first Republika Srpska Constitution, but that which had not changed was the awareness of importance of its existence and determination to develop and strengthen Republika Srpska. The envoy of Serbian President Aleksandar Vulin said this evening that Serbia would never keep quiet when it comes to insults directed at Republika Srpska and that Srpska must be respected if one wants a successful, peaceful and respected BiH. “It is a vision of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej for the Serbian people to be united,” Bishop of Remezijan Stefan said at the reception. Head of the Republika Srpska Representatives Office in Serbia Mlađen Cicović has said that he sees this evening’s reception as a new meeting between Serbia and Srpska and beloved guests.

BELGRADE, FEBRUARY 28 /SRNA/ - President of the Republika Srpska Academy of Science and Arts Rajko Kuzmanović has told SRNA that the Republika Srpska Constitution completed that which Serbs were doing to turn Srpska into a community with excellent prospects.

BANJALUKA, FEBRUARY 28 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska police identified a man who threatened Serb BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik with death, and he is Momir Vujičić /69/, of Jošik near Kozarska Dubica, the Republika Srpska Ministry of Internal Affairs told Srna.

BELGRADE, FEBRUARY 28 /SRNA/ - Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin says that SDA vice-president Safet Softić should say who ordered and attempted assassination of Aleksandar Vučić, the then prime minister of Serbia, in Potočari in 2015, instead of trying to spoil BiH’s relations with Serbia.
