BANJALUKa, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - Ninety-eight new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Republika Srpska and six middle-aged and elderly men died, reports the Institute of Public Health.

ZVORNIK, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - A middle-aged man who tested positive for the coronavirus died in Zvornik and 14 persons tested positive in the past 24 hours, says the Zvornik City Headquarters for Emergency Situations.

PALE, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - In the past 24 hours, a man in Pale tested positive for the coronavirus and his health is stable, the coordinator of the Pale Health Center, Nebojša Tanović, told Srna.

BANJALUKA, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - Banjaluka Mayor Igor Radojičić said today in Banjaluka that the Social Welfare Center launched a new program titled “Your social worker” which should secure the presence and availability of a social worker in every local community.

BANJALUKA, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - Banjaluka Mayor Igor Radojičić has said that the City of Banjaluka has been in a similar situation regarding the number of persons infected with the coronavirus for two months, which does not require new, drastic, more radial protection measures.

BIJELJINA, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - Bijeljina Mayor Mićo Mićić and speaker of the City Assembly Aleksandar Đurđević held a working meeting with heads of departments who were appointed to offices at a meeting of the local assembly on July 29.

DOBOJ, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - The Doboj City Assembly adopted today a decision on short-term and long-term loans totaling BAM 4,500,000 and voided the decision on borrowing the same amount of money that was adopted at a meeting in July.

NEVESINJE, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - Eight political parties gave their support to the SNSD candidate for Nevesinje Mayor, Milenko Avdalović, and a coalition agreement on cooperation in local elections and support to the candidate for mayor will be signed on Wednesday, August 12.

SREBRENICA, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - Srebrenica Mayor Mladen Grujičić today called a public competition for the implementation of a project of economic reinforcement of rural areas, that is, a project of aid to sustainable return and internally displaced persons who will be donated construction containers.

SARAJEVO, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - In BiH, 14,498 persons tested positive for the coronavirus, of whom 5,647 are in Republika Srpska, 8,609 in the Federation of BiH /FBiH/ and 242 in Brčko District, says the Ministry of Civil Affairs at the Council of Ministers.

SARAJEVO, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - Minister of Security at the Council of Ministers Selmo Cikotić has told Srna that he will tomorrow start his two-day visit to the Una-Sana Canton in order to see the situation on the ground in that part of BiH which is burdened with problems concerning migrants.

SARAJEVO, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - In the past 24 hours, 596 samples were tested in the Federation of BiH /FBiH/ of which 73 returned positive for the coronavirus, and ten deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health.

MOSTAR, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - An armed man who can be seen in video footage in downtown Mostar, which appeared last night on social media, was arrested on July 31 and has nothing to do with sports fans who two days ago rampaged the city, the spokesman for the Herzegovina-Neretva Ministry of Internal Affairs, LJudevit Marić, told Srna.

TUZLA, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - An explosion occurred today in the yard of the Tuzla thermal power plant hurting a worker.

BELGRADE, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin and Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar laid a cornerstone for the construction of a covid hospital in Kruševac which will have 500 beds so that the state could get prepared for the expected wave of coronavirus infections in the fall and winter.

BELGRADE, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - Serbia’s Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin has said that behind attacks on the Serbian Army for its recent joint patrols with Kfor at the administrative line with Kosovo and Metohija is Priština’s goal to include Kosovo police in these patrols.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - Another 11 persons tested positive for the coronavirus in Serbian settlements in Kosovo and Metohija, and 35 persons recovered from the infection, epidemiologist Desanka Novaković said today in Kosovska Mitrovica.

ZAGREB, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - The president of the Independent Democratic Serbian Party /SDSS/ and a member of the Croatian Parliament, Milorad Pupovac, has said that the Ustashe greeting “for the homeland ready” should be “removed from the public space” as this is the greeting of the “quisling creation which committed genocide against Serbs, Jews and Roma.”
