BANJALUKA, November 7 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has refused to meet with Austrian Ambassador to BiH, Martin Pammer, because he, as the diplomatic representative of Austria in BiH, did everything to prevent the desired cooperation.

"You often acted beyond the framework of good diplomatic behavior with your biased statements and thus drifted us apart from the desired cooperation with a country that we highly respect and with which we wanted to cooperate," the Srpska president emphasized in a letter addressed to Pammer after the Austrian diplomat had requested to meet with Dodik.

Dodik has said in a letter that Republika Srpska and he personally greatly respect the state of Austria and have done everything to have good cooperation based on mutual respect for years.

"You have roughly interfered in the internal affairs of BiH by your actions and public statements, openly favoring certain, as usual, Bosniak politics in BiH, thus depriving your own country of objective influence in BiH," the letter reads.

The Srpska president and newly elected member of the BiH Presidency has reminded that only a few months ago, the Austrian diplomat participated in an inexplicable scandal in Trebinje, when he arrogantly and rudely verbally attacked a group of pensioners who did not allow him to photograph them, and then misled the public that it was him who was attacked.

"Did you think of the damage you caused to Republika Srpska and the Serb people by creating a fabrication about an alleged verbal assault on a diplomat," Dodik asked in a letter addressed to Pammer.

The president of Srpska has emphasized that the Austrian diplomat openly and uncritically expressed support to the High Representative for BiH, who was also acting beyond the framework of acceptable behavior and violated the provisions of international agreement and international law.

"These are just some of the reasons why I am forced to refuse to meet you. Upon assuming the duty of the Serb BiH Presidency member, I am going to inform all the relevant Austrian authorities on your work in Sarajevo. I express my deep appreciation to the state of Austria with which Republika Srpska cooperates, despite your efforts to do the opposite, and we hope we will continue to cooperate in the future, especially after your departure," said President Dodik. /end/vos
