SARAJEVO, August 23 /SRNA/ - Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik requested an extraordinary session of the institution with one item on the agenda - appointment of Zoran Tegeltija as chairman of the Council of Ministers, which Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić scheduled for August 27.

The Office of the BiH Presidency Serb member told Srna that Dodik had sent the request for the extraordinary session to Komšić and Bosniak member Šefik Džaferović via the office secretary Zoran Đerić.

Dodik’s request reads that members of the Presidency reached verbal agreement at an August 20 meeting to postpone the 37th extraordinary session with the item on the agenda of appointing the chairperson to the Council of Ministers.

The request recalls that official documents of the Central Election Commission and State Investigation and Protection Agency confirming there are no legal obstacles that might affect Tegeltija’s nomination for chairman of the Council of Ministers arrived on Friday.

"Bearing in mind the prescribed principles for formation of authorities of August 5 and the precisely defined deadline of 30 days, I request that the postponed extraordinary session of the BiH Presidency be held and I suggest that it be done on August 27 at 1 p.m. with the item on the agenda - appointment of chairman to the Council of Ministers,” reads Dodik’s letter to Komšić and Džaferović. /end/dš
