REQUEST TO PARLIAMENT FOR SPECIAL SESSION IN ORDER TO DECLARE STATE OF EMERGENCY

 

BANJALUKA, MARCH 26 /SRNA/ - The Republika Srpska Government will today send a request to the Republika Srpska National Assembly to hold a special session in order to declare a state of emergency in the territory of Republika Srpska, says a press release from the Office of the Republika Srpska President.

 

The request is based on Article 70 of the Republika Srpska Constitution and Article 38 of the Law on the Republika Srpska Government, it was concluded at a meeting called by Republika Srpska President Željka Cvijanović where the request of the Government to the Republika Srpska National Assembly to hold a special session in order to declare a state of emergency in the territory of Republika Srpska was reviewed.

The meeting was attended by Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly Nedeljko Čubrilović, Prime Minister Radovan Višković, president of the Constitutional Court DŽerard Selman, deputy president of the Constitutional Court Snežana Savić, Justice Minister Anton Kasipović and Secretary-General of the Republika Srpska Government Siniša Karan. /end/sg
