TIRANA, May 9 /SRNA/ - BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik said on Thursday that Republika Srpska would follow Serbia when it comes to Kossovo and Metohija, that he did not support the High Representative in dismissing anyone and that this practice would not pass in Srpska.

TIRANA, May 9 /SRNA/ - The Serbian member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, told the President of self-declared Kossovo, Hašim Tači, to stop mentioning Republika Srpska and criticizing it since Srpska is not an imagination but reality.

BANJALUKA, May 9 /SRNA/ - President of Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović stated Thursday in Banjaluka Srpska is committed to the European path and there is no room for the High Representative on that path because he behaves in an undemocratic manner, is not an elected democratic representative and may not be superior to the institutions into which officials were elected by the will of the people.

BANJALUKA, May 9 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Željka Cvijanović has said that May 9, 1945 is one of the most important dates in world history, since on that day ideology of terror and evil was defeated which left behind it death camps, destroyed countries, cities and villages, and crimes, including those most monstrous such as genocide and Holocaust all over Europe, but also all over the world.

EAST SARAJEVO, May 9 /SRNA/ - The Immortal Regiment, composed of citizens who carried photographs of their ancestors, participants in WWII and other liberation wars, marched the streets of East Sarajevo for the first time on Thursday on the occasion of May 9, Victory over Fascism Day.

PRNJAVOR, May 9 /SRNA/ - Prnjavor marked May 9 – the Victory Day by laying wreaths and flowers at the memorial-busts of national heroes and the memorials dedicated to the soldiers fallen during the People's Liberation War /NOR/ and the victims of fascist terror on Thursday, which was organized by the Municipal Association of Veterans of the People's Liberation War of Yugoslavia /SUBNOR/.

MODRIČA, May 9 /SRNA/ - May 9, Victory over Fascism Day, was marked on Thursday in Modriča with the laying of wreaths at the memorial ossuary to fallen soldiers of the People’s Liberation War /NOR/ and a poetry class.

DERVENTA, May 9 /SRNA/ - May 9, Victory over Fascism Day and Europe Day, was marked on Thursday in Derventa with the laying of wreaths at the memorial to fallen soldiers of the People’s Liberation War /NOR/ near the Elementary School Nikola Tesla.

BILEĆA, May 9 /SRNA/ - The 2nd Infantry Battalion of the 3rd Infantry Regiment /Republika Srpska/ on Thursday in the Bilećki Borci barracks marked the 27th anniversary of the formation of the Republika Srpska Army and the 14th anniversary of the formation of the 3rd Infantry Regiment /Republika Srpska/ of the BiH Armed Forces.

BANJALUKA, May 9 /SRNA/ - In the first four months of the year, the Republika Srpska Tax Authority collected KM 839.7 million in public revenues, which is by KM 18.4 million /2%/ more than in the same period of last year.

TIRANA, May 9 /SRNA/ - During a plenary session of the Brdo-Brioni Process in Tirana on Thursday, Chairman of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik reiterated Bosnia and Herzegovina’s commitment to the staying on the European path about which there is a consensus among all relevant political leaders in BiH.

TIRANA, May 9 /SRNA/ - The Chairman and Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik met with Polish President Andrzej Duda on the sidelines of the Brdo-Brioni Summit in Tirana and told him that an appearance by Poland’s representative to the UN Security Council after a speech by High Representative Valentin Inzko and presentation of the 55th report on the implementation of peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina was unacceptable.

SARAJEVO, May 9 /SRNA/ - The caretaker BiH Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Mirko Šarović, said on Thursday that EUR 200 million was ready for numerous projects in BiH, of which amount EUR 100 million for the private sector and the rest for infrastructure and “green cities.”

SARAJEVO, May 9 /SRNA/ - The caretaker BiH Minister of Finance and Treasury, Vjekoslav Bevanda, and the president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development /EBRD/, Suma Chakrabarti, on Thursday in Sarajevo signed a loan agreement worth EUR 210 million for the Corridor 5 project – bypass around Doboj.

BANJALUKA, May 9 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nedeljko Čubrilović said Thursday that High Representative for BiH Valentin Inzko has submitted reports that do not correspond to the actual situation in BiH, especially when it comes to Republika Srpska.

BANJALUKA, May 9 /SRNA/ - The trial judgment rendered by the BiH Court to Elfeta Veseli sentencing her to ten years’ imprisonment for a brutal murder of 12-year-old Slobodan Stojanović in 1992 near Zvornik is a disgrace against which the BiH Prosecutor’s Office should lodge an appeal and the Appellate Panel issue a maximum sentence given the gravity and brutality of the crime, says Demos secretary general Boran Bosančić.

BELGRADE, May 9 /SRNA/ - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said on Thursday that talks in Tirana were not simple and were conducted in a complex environment, but that it had been easier for him because he together with the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, had protected the interests of Serbia and Republika Srpska.

BELGRADE, May 9 /SRNA/ - On the occasion of May 9, Victory over Fascism Day, the Serbian Minister of Defense, Aleksandar Vulin, laid a wreath at the monument to unknown hero on Mount Avala and said that the free world had defeated the 3rd Reich on May 9, 1945, but had not defeated Nazism whose ideology was still alive.
