BANJALUKA, June 12 /SRNA/ - Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik received Wednesday in Banjaluka members of several units of the former Yugoslav Army who took part in battles at Košare in Kosovo and Metohija and on the occasion members of the 63rd paratroop bridge handed him a solemn emblem of their unit.


Previously, when Dodik was President of Republika Srpska, he posthumously decorated seven members of the brigade, reports the BiH Presidency.

During their meeting at the Administrative Centre of the Government of Republika Srpska, Dodik said it was extremely positive that a documentary film was made in Serbia about the Battle of Košare, and the delegation asserted together with him that a documentary should also be made about the breakthrough of the “Corridor of Life” in Republika Srpska.

Dodik told the members of several units of the former Yugoslav Army that over the past few months, the public in Srpska was frequently talking about their heroic acts and a historical importance of the Battle of Košare.

Dodik briefed Serbian Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin Wednesday in Banjaluka he had not allowed a deployment of BiH Armed Forces at the borders with Serbia and Montenegro.

Dodik and Vulin also touched upon the political and security topics in BiH and Serbia. /end/dš
