BIJELJINA, August 12 /SRNA/ - If the BiH Indirect Taxation Authority /ITA/ does not give up relocation of the customs terminal from Rača and continues ignoring protests and interests of freight forwarding agents and haulers, trucks will block this border crossing, Radmila Koprivica, a representative of freight forwarding agents in the protest, told SRNA on Monday. She has said that freight forwarding agents halted the third strike this month at noon and announced a blockade of the customs terminal for Thursday, August 15, if the ITA BiH does not give up its intention to relocate this terminal.

BANJALUKA, August 12 /SRNA/ - The BiH Indirect Taxation Authority /ITA/ has urged freight forwarding agents not to block the customs terminal in Rača because a meeting will be held where they will be able to present their requests, after which a final decision will be made in connection with the planned relocation of this customs terminal, spokesman for the ITA BiH Ratko Kovačević told SRNA on Monday.

BANJALUKA, August 12 /SRNA/ - Head of the Association of Hauliers Nikola Grbić told SRNA on Monday that haulers support the request of freight forwarding agents at the Rača border crossing, warning that relocation of the customs terminal would cause millions in damages for the country, freight forwarding agents and haulers.

SARAJEVO, August 12 /SRNA/ - Due to suspicion in presence of African swine fever in Serbia, the BiH Veterinary Office adopted Instructions temporary banning imports of certain shipments for the sake of preventing the spread of the disease in BiH.

BELGRADE, August 12 /SRNA/ - Historian Predrag Marković has said that Nikola Tesla, who was raised by father, an Orthodox priest, and mother, who was from a clerical family, remains a Serb forever, no matter where he is, and that this is not questionable. Commenting on a statement by Croatian Minister of Culture Nino Obulja that Nikola Tesla was a Croatian scientist of Serbian origin and on Croatia’s intention to present Tesla at the upcoming Expo 2020 Dubai world exhibition as their scientist and innovator, Marković has said that Croatia’s hypocrisy is seen in it.


BELGRADE, August 12 /SRNA/ - Serbia’s Minister of Culture and Information Vladan Vukosavljević and the Ambassador of Russia to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko agreed on Monday that an agreement on handover, which defines the exchange of a page of Miroslav’s Gospel and paintings of Nikolay Rerih, represents an important cultural interest of both countries, and that it should get a final version soon.
