BANJALUKA, October 8 /SRNA/ - Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of Republika Srpska Vjekoslav Petričević told members of the National Assembly on Tuesday that the goal of the Strategy for Women’s Entrepreneurship Development 2019-2023 is to increase the number of female entrepreneurs in the total number of small and medium enterprises and in Gross Domestic Product, and to increase the number of employed female entrepreneurs by 10%.

BANJALUKA, October 8 /SRNA/ - The main reason for adopting the strategy for improving the position of elderly persons in Republika Srpska in the period from 2019 until 2028 is the need to improve the quality of life of such people strategically and in many areas, Minister of Health and Social Welfare Alen Šeranić stated explaining the proposal of the strategy to the parliament.

TREBINJE, October 8 /SRNA/ - A 49-year-old native of Bileća identified as M.Č. admitted to have killed a migrant on Saturday, October 5 in the village of Todorići outside Bileća, the Trebinje District Prosecutor’s Office told Srna.

BELGRADE, October 8 /SRNA/ - Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik will be awarded the highest decoration of the Serbian Orthodox Church /SOC/, the Order of Saint Sava of the First Degree, at a ceremony that will be held on Tuesday evening in Belgrade, Srna has found.

SARAJEVO, October 8 /SRNA/ - Staša Košarac, the head of the SNSD caucus in the BiH House of Representatives, says that “SDS and PDP officials have not learnt their lesson from the catastrophic defeat they suffered in the general elections a year ago, due to their policy of allegiance and their politics contrary to the interests of Republika Srpska and Serbs.”

SARAJEVO, October 8 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chairman of the BiH House of Peoples Nikola Špirić and the newly-appointed Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH Kathleen Kavalec say it is necessary to invest extra efforts in finding a compromise solution and creating a positive environment for enforcing reforms.

SARAJEVO, October 8 /SRNA/ - Bosnia and Herzegovina’s economic growth in 2019 will be 3.1%, or 0.5% lower than last year and it is estimated that it will be 3.4% next year and 3.9% in 2021, reads a World Bank report for the Balkans.
