EAST SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Chairman and Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik points out that EU High Representative and Vice President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, who is coming to Sarajevo on Saturday to mark the 25th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Agreement, does not seem to be familiar with the content of the Agreement.

"In a column he wrote for the federal media analyzing the situation in BiH, Borrell does not mention the essence of the Dayton Peace Agreement, entities or nations he obviously is not familiar with, but mentions people, which is a huge omission given his high European position," Dodik told SRNA when asked to comment on Borrell's column published in the federal media, in which he talks about an alleged centralized BiH, ignoring the existence of three constituent peoples in BiH.

Dodik assesses his ignorance of the Dayton Peace Agreement as undoubted omission happening at the very moment when he comes to mark 25th anniversary of the Agreement and the Constitution, which clearly read that BiH is composed of two entities and three constituent peoples.

"Borrell thus excludes entities and peoples in his column on his own, speaking instead about, according to what he wrote, a centralized BiH that does not exist as such. The differences between Borrell and the BiH Presidency are obviously huge," Dodik pointed out.

Dodik pointed out that Borrell showed special ignorance, but also tendentiousness in the part of the column about alleged genocide in BiH.

"Borrell should have known that there is no decision on it by any political body in BiH, just as he should have known that there is a Serb people in BiH who do not recognise and will never admit false accusations of alleged genocide during the past war. That should be respected, not ignored, because it is about the constituent people in BiH, and not to fall for the theory created by only one people", said Dodik.

He states that it is Borrell who used the rhetoric of history revisionism, which is also used by one people in BiH to falsify historical facts.

The chairman and the Serb member of the BiH Presidency assesses that, according to all aforementioned, there is no doubt that the meeting with the members of the Presidency of BiH announced for tomorrow will be burdened by these differences in the understanding of the Dayton Peace Agreement and BiH. /end/vos
