BANJALUKA, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Chairman and Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik says Republika Srpska remains committed to the implementation of the Dayton Accords, but that it will certainly not die to save something that obviously no one wants to be saved.

BANJALUKA, NOVEMBER 19 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Željka Cvijanović voiced confidence that BiH would be a fairly successful country if it were allowed to organise its internal political and any other life on the basis of what the Dayton Peace Agreement gave and defined from the very beginning.

BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Russian academician Jelena Guskova stated in an interview with SRNA that the Dayton Peace Agreement should not be altered until all three constituent peoples in BiH agree on its possible amendments, and stressed that Russia was in favour of preserving the Agreement and that she always supported the Serbs. BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Political analyst Stevica Deđanski told SRNA the Dayton Paeec Agreement, with all its weaknesses and shortcomings, enabled Republika Srpska to exist, which is why it abides by it so much, and said that Srpska should continue to insist on respecting it.

BANJALUKA, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Historian of the Republika Srpska Research Centre of War, War Crimes and Tracing Missing Persons, Predrag Lozo, tells SRNA that the Dayton Peace Agreement will be a reference with which to measure all previously offered solutions, as well as future developments related to Republika Srpska, BiH, but also the Balkan in general.

ŠAMAC, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - The agricultural cooperative "Obudovac" has completed the purchase of 45 tons of Virginia tobacco type, THE director of the Cooperative Maksim Petrović told SRNA.

LOPARE, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Lopare Municipality confirmed 43 cases of coronavirus infection, while 104 persons underwent medical supervision, said the director of the Lopare Health Centre, Želimir Nešković.

SOKOLAC, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - The preschool education institution Sokolac will be closed until December 1, due to the epidemiological situation, the commander of the Emergency Situations Staff Sokolac Municipality, Milovan Bjelica, told SRNA.

SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 19 /SRNA/ - The BiH Presidency adopted at today's session the Budget Execution report of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Obligations for the period between January and June to be submitted to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - The Presidency of BiH has expressed full readiness and commitment to respect the provisions of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in BiH and the Constitution of BiH, which is its integral part.

SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - The pre-election campaign, which will be held on December 20, officially begins in Mostar today, the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH announced.

BRATUNAC, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Bratunac United Srpska party leader, Miladin Radović, told SRNA that the Central Election Commission of BiH cted illegally and made omissions in organising postal voting in Serbia because many citizens complained they were not provided with ballots, i.e. they were sent to other addresses and places.

BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia passed away today in Belgrade. The patriarch /aged 90/ died of coronavirus infection at the Karaburma Military Hospital, where he has been hospitalized since November 4.

BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, announced on the occasion of the death of His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia that people like Patriarch Irinej "never leave".

SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Serb member and BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik has voiced his sincere condolences to all hierarchs of the Serbian Orthodox Church /SOC/, monks, clergy and faithful people over the death of His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia.

BANJALUKA, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Željka Cvijanović sent a telegram of condolences to the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, all archbishops, clergy, monks and faithful Serbian Orthodox people today on the occasion of the deaths of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej.

BANJALUKA, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Radovan Višković says on the occasion of the death of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej that the Serbian Orthodox Church /SOC/ and the Serb people have lost a great spiritual father, who was leading the people and the church safely and wisely through all temptations in difficult times.

SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Council of Ministers Chairman Zoran Tegeltija says over the death of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej that the Serbian Orthodox Church /SOC/ and the Serb people have lost a great spiritual leader who dedicated his life to building harmony among believers, peace among people, justice and goodness. /end/vos
