JOKIĆ: ATTEMPT BY POLITICAL SARAJEVO TO ELECT THE PRESIDENT OF REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, August 29 /SRNA/ - Secretary General of the Socialist Party of Srpska Ratko Jokić stated that the Serb people owe great gratitude to the President of the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH, who with her explanation revealed the true intention of political Sarajevo - to hold elections for the President of Republika Srpska on the territory of the Federation of BiH and to accept illegitimate results.

"Her statement clearly exposed the essence of the CEC's decisions and the intention to brutally trample on the electoral will of the citizens of Republika Srpska. It is obvious that political Sarajevo wants to elect the President of Republika Srpska from among the Serbian people with Bosniak votes, just as they elected the Croat member of the BiH Presidency," Jokić stressed. Jokić asked will polling stations tomorrow be opened in Garavice, Delića Brdo, the pits of Livno field, Prebilovci and other sites of Serb suffering on the territory of the Federation of BiH? "These very sites best testify to the consequences of anti-Serb policies throughout history. The Socialist Party of Srpska warns that this represents a direct attack on the constitutional order and the electoral will of the citizens of Republika Srpska. We call on all institutions and political actors in Srpska to jointly protect our people's right to free choice in order to preserve the institutions of Republika Srpska," Jokić said.
