JOLOVIĆ: INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY MUST KNOW ABOUT CRIMES COMMITTED AGAINST SERBS

BRATUNAC, JULY 6 /SRNA/ - The former commander of the special forces "Wolves from the Drina," Milan Jolović, told SRNA that the international community must know that more than 3,000 Serbs were killed in Podrinje and that the perpetrators of these crimes must not go unpunished.

Jolović expressed satisfaction that a large number of people came to Bratunac today to mark the 32nd anniversary of crimes against Serbs of Podrinje. He emphasized that each year, there should be more and more people who remember those who gave their lives for Republika Srpska. “Jesus said that the greatest love is when you give your life for your loved ones and for your country, and we came today to pay tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom," said Jolović in Bratunac, where the 32nd anniversary of the killing of Serbs by Muslim forces in the Middle Podrinje and Birač was marked today. A memorial service for 3,267 Serbian victims was officiated by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije in the presence of the highest officials from Republika Srpska and Serbia. The title of this year's commemoration program for the Serbs killed in the Middle Podrinje and Birač is "32 Years - Crime Without Punishment."
