ACCORDING TO THE DAYTON AGREEMENT, NO STATE PROPERTY EXISTS
ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 29 /SRNA/ - SNSD Member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Miroslav Vujičić told SRNA today that it must be clear to everyone in BiH that there is no state property, and that the Dayton Peace Agreement defines the existence of property belonging to Republika Srpska and property belonging to the Federation of BiH /FBiH/.
“There is no state property, and all that federal members of the House of Representatives are doing is attempting, in a perfidious way, to seize what belongs to Republika Srpska through the proposed adoption of a law on state property in BiH,” Vujičić emphasized. Vujičić emphasized that this truly represents a “red line” that no one from Republika Srpska will cross. He noted that at the last session of the House of Representatives, this law not only failed to pass, but "it will not pass.” “Since the law did not pass, you can see that they are calling for the help of /the fake international representative in BiH/ Christian Schmidt, so that at the end of his mandate, he might create yet another major problem in BiH, forcibly transferring what belongs to Republika Srpska and the Federation, to the level of BiH,” Vujičić said. He stated that the idea of state property being “pushed” by some Bosniaks will never receive SNSD’s support. “What belongs to Republika Srpska belongs to Srpska, and we have no interest in any property that belongs to the Federation,” Vujičić emphasized. He pointed out that the SNSD’s position is completely clear: not a single law concerning anything defined by the Dayton Peace Agreement, which is called state property in federal Sarajevo, will ever receive the party’s support. “What concerns us exclusively is what is located within Republika Srpska, and that should remain, and will remain, the property of the municipalities of Republika Srpska and of the Republic itself,” Vujičić emphasized. The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH decided at its session on November 27 to consider the Draft Law on State Property through the regular legislative procedure, because there was no entity majority at that session to discuss it under the urgent and shortened procedure, as requested by a group of Bosniak representatives. The MPs Jasmin Emrić, Šemsudin Mehmedović, Aida Baručija, and Elvisa Hodžić were sponsors of the law.
