IT IS OBVIOUS THAT BiH CONSTITUTIONAL COURT’S DECISIONS WILL NOT BE IMPLEMENTED IN SRPSKA

EAST SARAJEVO, JUNE 1 /SRNA/ - Mayor of East Sarajevo Ljubiša Ćosić assessed that it is obvious that the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH will not be implemented in Republika Srpska.

"The Constitutional Court makes decisions without grounds based on constitutional solutions and what is defined in the Constitution and laws of Republika Srpska, without judges from Republika Srpska. This speaks of the inapplicability of what they pass," Ćosić told SRNA. After the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH to temporarily suspend the application of the decision on the manner and conditions of the sale of real estate owned by Srpska to Jahorina through public bidding, Ćosić stated that their goal is to create a constantly negative political atmosphere without any relations that is transferred to real life. "Nothing new from the Constitutional Court of BiH, but us becoming a country where the decisions of the Constitutional Court will not be implemented is absurĆ," Cosić said. He expressed his regret that these people are going deeper and deeper being aware that they cannot implement these things in Republika Srpska. "I cannot implement them and it cannot be done on the ground because they are contrary to the Constitution and the laws of Republika Srpska. The decisions made by the Government and the plans made by the institutions of Republika Srpska in the area of Jahorina are above all legal and legitimate and will be implemented," assessed Ćosić. Ćosić pointed out that the Constitutional Court of BiH will show that it got the characteristics of a prison institution from the international community that is trying to threaten the interests of Republika Srpska and a captured institution by a small group of Bosniak politicians who are trying to achieve some of their own interests. He believes that investments in Jahorina should not be stopped because when it comes to real life, they are positive since they will enable new employment and economic activities. "The reality is that if someone bought something on Jahorina and paid the funds into the budget of Republika Srpska in order to build, it is positive for this pople for enabling new employment, new investments and economic activities. On the other hand, we have an institution that is being used for political purposes, trying to stop that," Ćosić concluded. Due to the request of 13 members of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH for the resolution of the dispute with Republika Srpska due to the adoption of a decision on the manner and conditions of the sale of real estate owned by Republika Srpska to Jahorin through public bidding, the Constitutional Court of BiH temporarily suspended the application of this decision until the adoption of the final measure in this case.
