DODIK PRESENTS AWARDS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF RELATIONS BETWEEN MINISTRIES OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF SRPSKA AND THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
BANJA LUKA, APRIL 5 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik presented awards today in Banja Luka in recognition of the development of bilateral relations between the Ministry of Internal Affairs /MIA/ of the Russian Federation - Moscow Police Department and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska.
This cooperation contributes to the promotion of human rights, the rule of law, and freedoms between the Russian Federation and Republika Srpska. The President of Srpska awarded the Order of Njegoš First Class to the Main Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the City of Moscow. The decoration was received by Vladislav Anatolyevich Novikov, Deputy Head of the Main Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the City of Moscow, Chief of Police, and Major General of Police. The President of Srpska awarded Novikov the Order of Honor with silver rays. Dodik awarded the Order of Honor with silver rays to Pavel Milovanov, Deputy Chief of Police of the Main Administration of the MIA for the City of Moscow, Colonel of Police, Head of the Department of Internal Affairs for the North-Eastern Administrative District of the Main Administration of the MIA of the Russian Federation for the City of Moscow; to Colonel of Police Ramil Gafurov, Acting Deputy Head of the Department for Records and Regime of the Main Administration of the MIA of Russia for the City of Moscow; and to Yuri Solovyev, Head of International Cooperation and Lieutenant Colonel of the Internal Service. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, Siniša Karan, the Director of Police, Siniša Kostrešević, and the leadership of the MIA of Srpska held discussions this week in Banja Luka with a delegation from the Main Administration of the MIA of the Russian Federation for the City of Moscow about cooperation and friendly relations between the ministries. The focus was placed on concretizing cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum, with an interest shown in training service dogs, cavalry, and counter-terrorism efforts.
