TELIĆ AT A GALA EVENT IN HONOR OF FLORIDA CONGRESSMAN WHOM SHE INVITED TO VISIT SRPSKA

CHICAGO, APRIL 26 /SRNA/ - The Consul General of BiH in Chicago, Tatjana Telić, attended a gala event held in honor of Florida Congressman Byron Donalds, who is also expected to be the future Governor of Florida. The event took place in Chicago, Illinois.

More than 1,200 people attended the event and the formal dinner, during which Congressman Donalds addressed the audience. "The evening was preceded by a roundtable with the Congressman in which I participated with around twenty selected officials. Participants had the opportunity to share their messages, ask questions, and engage in dialogue with Congressman Donalds," Telić told SRNA. She emphasized that, during a highly interactive discussion on various current issues, she informed the Congressman about the support that Republika Srpska had given to U.S. President Donald Trump in the previous elections. "I also informed the Congressman about the fact that the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, openly called on all Serbs in America to vote for Trump, and that the Serbian community in the U.S. is ready to contribute to the development of a new America based on values that Serbs share with them, such as freedom, faith, family, and a strong national identity," Telić said. She also briefed the participants about the consequences of the globalist policies in BiH, which were led by their predecessors from the U.S., and emphasized the need to build an alliance and work together to develop future relations. "I also informed him about the situation in BiH, which requires support for urgent dialogue to return to the Dayton arrangement and normalize relations. I invited Congressman Donalds, who is a candidate for governor of Florida, to visit Republika Srpska, and he once again confirmed the importance of the Serbian community both in Florida and in Illinois," said Telić.
