IT IS COMICAL AND HUMILIATING THAT BRITAIN, WHICH EXITED THE EU, IS ADVOCATING FOR THE EU

BELGRADE, MAY 7 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said today that it is comical and humiliating that the United Kingdom, which exited the EU, is now advocating for the EU.
"Why did you leave the EU if it is so good there? We continue to insist that we are not against BiH’s European path. We ask to be visible there, for our jurisdictions to be respected, and for them not to be an obstacle on the path to the EU," Dodik told reporters in Belgrade, commenting on the meeting of the two "troikas" last night in Sarajevo with the British Foreign Secretary David Lammy. He recalled the analysis conducted by the EU at the beginning of BiH’s European path, which was quickly hidden, which said that Republika Srpska holds 83% of the jurisdictions on European matters, the FBiH holds 56% because of the cantons, and the joint level of BiH holds only 12%. "The EU lives by Orwellian principles where a lie is the truth, and the truth is a lie. Objectively, this must lead to failure," said Dodik. Dodik emphasized that Republika Srpska sees the EU in crisis, and now the British minister is pushing BiH into this unresolved issue. "They offer us a fake narrative, asking us to give up our subjectivity for a fake narrative about the EU. Then this Brit comes, who has nothing to offer but intrigues. He meets with two ‘troikas.’ They don’t want to talk with important leaders. They don’t allow leaders from any state or nation to be formed in the Balkans. They always try to undermine local authorities and instead take a group of unfinished authorities, like these little ‘troikas,’" said Dodik. He pointed out Britain’s policy of expelling a part of the migrants from the UK who have violated their laws, and BiH is included on that map. "Why would the British foreign secretary come to BiH just when the Serbian member and Chairwoman of the Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, is in New York? Because he doesn’t want an uncomfortable conversation with her, and instead, he meets with them in Sarajevo," said Dodik, who is also the leader of the SNSD. He pointed out that the opposition in Republika Srpska is almost insignificant, reminding of the results of last year's local elections when the SNSD, together with coalition partners, won the majority in the assembly of all 10 cities, the mayorship and assembly in eight cities, mayorship in 70% of municipalities, and a majority in the municipal assemblies in 80% of municipalities. Dodik said that the opposition is delusional, the SDS is increasingly a ruin, and the PDP is confirming its British subservience, which is why it is no coincidence that they participated in that meeting with Lammy. "This is a clear example of how the main concept of Britain is to deliver the worst blows to Serbs, ever since the fall of the Ottoman Empire, when they decided to prevent the formation of any Serbian state in the Balkans. But, I am convinced that we will build such a state," Dodik said. Speaking about threats from "some British units," Dodik said that it is no longer the time it once was.
