DODIK: THEY SIGNED YESTERDAY, NEXT YEAR THEY’LL BE ERASED

BANJA LUKA, May 10 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that it has never before happened that parties in government behave like the opposition and parties in opposition as if they wanted to be in government, signing a political cooperation agreement that, in his view, will come to nothing.
“They were the first to be brought to power by the hand. Stanivuković, Miličević, and Vukanović hope that someone will take them too. Now they’ve formed the ‘Insufficient Coalition,’” Dodik said. He noted that the concept of the agreement signed yesterday by the two “threes” and a few others is a complete unknown in political theory. “Not to mention the practice,” Dodik added. He emphasized that the title of the agreement—“Platform for Peace and the EU”—is even more senseless. “BiH is not in a state of war. BiH is neither Ukraine, nor Yemen, nor Palestine. BiH has lived in peace for 30 years,” Dodik stressed. Regarding the EU, he pointed out that this group’s contribution to the European path is zero: the ministries they run proposed zero EU-related laws laws and they voted for only one, while every other reform has been driven by the parties this “advanced” grouping calls retrograde. “A particularly absurd touch is their stance that ‘we’ll leave the tough topics for another time.’ BiH is in crisis because of these tough topics, because they’ve been swept under the rug for decades. The crisis isn’t about cheese and military music. If they won’t tackle the hard issues, what will they tackle? There are no easy ones left,” Dodik wrote on X. He added that part of the text this Sarajevo “three” signed two years ago with HDZ and SNSD. “And they cheated. This other ‘three’—SDS, PDP, and Vukanović—hardly even know what they signed. Some don’t know where they’re going, others what they’re doing. Universal joy. What’s certain is that nothing will come of what’s been signed. They signed yesterday; next year they’ll be ‘erased,’” Dodik concluded.
