UNITY AND SUPPORT FOR INSTITUTIONS ARE NEEDED

NOVI GRAD, MAY 17 /SRNA/ - The president of the Organization of the Republika Srpska Army /RSA/ Commanding Officers, Mirko Trivić, believes that the role of patriotic forces and the unity of the Serbian people in supporting the institutions of Republika Srpska are more important today than ever before.

“Thanks to the decisions of the institutions and the achievements of the RSA, we have strengthened the leadership’s position to prove at peace negotiations that we are fighting for our homes and identity in BiH. We have Republika Srpska, and our task is to support the institutions and defend the sovereignty and rights granted to us by the Dayton Peace Agreement,” Trivić said. He believes it is not good that a few people in positions of power condemn the institutions of Republika Srpska. Momir Kovačević, the president of the Regional Board of the Organization of the RSA Commanding Officers, said that their role is to strengthen patriotic forces, unite the Serbian people, and defend the institutions of Republika Srpska. “It is important to preserve the truth about historical events, which is why we are working on publications. We will continue because we witness attempts to rewrite history. We are here to defend Republika Srpska. We defended it during the war, and we defend it in peace,” emphasized Kovačević.
