DODIK: A NEW BALANCE OF POWER IS EMERGING, THE WEST CAN NO LONGER IMPOSE RULES

MOSCOW, MAY 28 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said today in Moscow that a new balance of power is emerging and that the West can no longer impose its rules.
"Today it is evident that the collective West no longer has the strength to impose its rules," Dodik said in his address at the International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues, which brings together participants from over 100 countries. He pointed out that since the fall of the Berlin Wall, the West has claimed the principle of security solely for itself. "They did not respect the security of the rest of the world and acted only according to their principles. However, today they are no longer the key factor in the world," Dodik emphasized. Dodik said that the BRICS countries have begun to create a balance and that a new security system is being formed. He said that the BRICS countries respect the sovereignty of all nations, regardless of their size. "Republika Srpska is a neutral state, and that bothers the West," Dodik said. Dodik also pointed out that the Serbs survived two bombings. "NATO used depleted uranium, which is why children in our region are being born with serious illnesses," Dodik said. He noted that Republika Srpska is under pressure for not imposing sanctions on Russia and stated that Srpska values its friendship with Moscow and will never impose sanctions on it. Dodik also reminded the attendees of the status of Christian Schmidt. "He is not a High Representative; he represents yet another dark chapter in the history of the Balkans," Dodik said. The International Conference of High Representatives for Security Issues is currently taking place in Moscow, with participants from over 100 countries. Among the flags of all participating countries is the flag of Republika Srpska, and the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, addressed the attendees via video link, stating that the new security architecture must be equal and indivisible. Accompanying Dodik in Moscow is Željko Budimir, the Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of Republika Srpska.
