LJUBOJEVIĆ: THE PRESIDENT OF SRPSKA WAS ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE — NO FOREIGNER, PIC, OR OPPOSITION CAN DISMISS HIM

BANJA LUKA, MAY 29 /SRNA/ – The mandate of the Srpska President Milorad Dodik, cannot be revoked by Christian Schmidt or any foreign country that sees him as an obstacle to achieving control over Republika Srpska and BiH, considering submissive policies currently pursued by the Bosniak leadership, and the fact that Milorad Dodik is the only political figure in BiH fighting for its full sovereignty without foreign protectorate, said Deputy Speaker of the Srpska National Assembly, Anja Ljubojević.
Ljubojević stated that the mandate of the President of Srpska cannot be revoked by the so-called international community or an informal group of countries of no real significance known as the "Peace Implementation Council" (PIC). "The presidential mandate was won in elections and draws its strength from the support of the people, which cannot be nullified by any political verdict or ‘agreement’ with opposition parties," Ljubojević said. Regarding the announced participation of the opposition from Republika Srpska in a meeting with members of the PIC, Ljubojević told SRNA that this is an attempt to create an atmosphere where some from Srpska appear to respect Christian Schmidt and accept his imposed decisions, and that such ‘good guys’ should then be rewarded through illegitimate appointments as equal negotiators — even though they have no legitimacy to negotiate on behalf of Srpska or its people. "The opposition is facing a very serious decision that will definitively show whose interests they serve — their own and those of their sponsors in Britain and Germany, or the interests of Republika Srpska. The interest of every citizen in Srpska is to preserve the Republic, their rights, and guaranteed autonomy, and we are well aware of who has threatened those rights through impositions," Ljubojević stressed. She emphasized that this is not about personal loyalty to Milorad Dodik, but about respect for the democratic processes and institutions of Republika Srpska, including the institution of the President. "Neither the PIC nor Schmidt will be dismissing Serb representatives or revoking mandates at will through political rulings. Any opposition that does not understand this or the significance of current developments is not a true opposition, but a domestic enemy working against their own Republic and people, for personal gain," Ljubojević said. She further stated that there is credible and verified information that some members of the opposition had advocated for the revocation of SNSD mandates with the help of the illegitimate Schmidt, in an effort to destroy the party and thus pave the way for a new political order in which there is no place for the equal status of the two entities and three constituent peoples. "These are dangerous matters that will be presented to the public, because all citizens of Republika Srpska have the right to know who, how, and with whom has been negotiating the surrender of Serb property to foreigners in exchange for a political seat," Ljubojević underscored.
