PAJIĆ BAŠTINAC: IN WHAT COUNTRY IN THE WORLD CAN AN ILLEGAL FOREIGNER IMPOSE LAWS!?

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 10 /SRNA/ - BiH is experiencing a constitutional and political crisis, caused by the foreigner Christian Schmidt through his unilateral imposition of laws, not a security crisis, as political Sarajevo and parts of the international community are trying to portray it, Jelena Pajić Baštinac, Secretary General to the President of Republika Srpska, told SRNA.

When asked by SRNA to comment on the statement by the Head of the OSCE Mission, Brian Aggeler, regarding the case being conducted before the extra-constitutional Court of BiH against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, in which Aggeler said that no one should be above the law, as is the case everywhere else, Pajić Baštinac responded with a counter-question: “In what country in the world can an illegal foreigner impose laws and assume the role of the legislative authority?” "Even if he were a legally appointed High Representative, which Christian Schmidt falsely claims to be, he would still have no right to impose laws and act as a legislator. The Dayton Agreement nowhere envisions the High Representative enacting laws, participating in parliamentary sessions, or dictating which decisions should be made... The role of the High Representative is to uphold the Dayton Agreement, not to violate it. Yet, in BiH as it currently stands, everything abnormal is presented as normal, clearly illustrating that this is a classic colony," emphasized Pajić Baštinac. Regarding Ambassador Aggeler's statement, Pajić Baštinac said that statements like his only intensify the crisis, adding that it is not the first time that such shameful statements have come from the organization headed by him and other international organizations. "Would he support that an illegal foreigner imposes laws in the country from which he comes, introduces new criminal acts, ignores the will of the voters, suggests who is good to be in power and who is not, and all this with the sole aim of politically eliminating the elected leader whom the people want," asked Pajić Baštinac. She sent a message to the OSCE, stating that it would be much wiser for them to focus on the Bosniak politicians who are blocking all processes, openly saying that their goal is to impose political representatives on Republika Srpska and the Serb people, who are one of the three constituent peoples of BiH. “The OSCE remains silent on the blatant violations of the rights of both Serbs and Croats, and they are probably also suggesting to us to lower our heads and remain silent, so that tomorrow we end up like the Croats, for whom the Bosniaks elected Željko Komšić. That scenario in BiH, when it comes to the Serbs and Republika Srpska, will not occur. They can impose laws, invent criminal offenses, and launch political proceedings against all of us, but we will never bow our heads and allow anyone to impose representatives on us, seize property, and leave Republika Srpska merely as a geographic term, without the substance and autonomy granted by Dayton,” Pajić Baštinac said.
