BiH NEEDS A MAJOR RESET AND DIALOGUE THAT SARAJEVO IS NOT ACCUSTOMED TO

BELGRADE, JUNE 29 /SRNA/ - The Serb member of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, said today that the fact that Sarajevo is not accustomed to dialogue is a major obstacle to dialogue among the three constituent peoples in BiH, adding that they are used to having foreigners deliver ready-made solutions, to the detriment of others living in BiH, particularly the Serbs and Republika Srpska.
Cvijanović emphasized that those days are over, but that Bosniak representatives still need more time to come to terms with that. "As far as we in Republika Srpska are concerned, we have no obstacles to dialogue, and our invitation is always open, because we are convinced that this is the only path to resolving open issues in a complex and multiethnic community such as BiH," Cvijanović told today’s issue of Politika. When asked whether a potential "Dayton Two" could pose a risk to Republika Srpska, Cvijanović responded that the main issue with the hypothetical "Dayton Two" is that even "Dayton One" has not been fully implemented, nor has it been given a real chance to function in practice. "In other words, if the Dayton Agreement was subjected to forcible and unlawful revisions immediately after it was signed, what guarantees are there that the same wouldn't happen with a potential 'Dayton Two'?" Cvijanović asked. She pointed out that the key issue lies in the deeply damaged trust, which is the result of violations of the only peace agreement signed by all three sides in BiH. "As a rule, this was done in collaboration between foreign interventionists and political Sarajevo, to the detriment of one, and often two of the constituent peoples. We see today where this has led us. After all these numerous interventions, BiH is neither more stable, more orderly, nor more functional. It is facing the greatest crisis since the signing of the Dayton Agreement," Cvijanović said. She sees a major reset as the only solution to this situation, one in which domestic representatives would come to the table and, based on the letter of the Constitution and the Dayton Agreement, regulate future relations in BiH so that it is tailored to the needs of all its peoples, not just one.
