ĐOKIĆ: SRPSKA FOR COOPERATION WITH THE REPUBLIC OF TATARSTAN

YEKATERINBURG, JULY 7 /SRNA/ - The Republika Srpska Minister of Energy and Mining, Petar Đokić, stated that Srpska is observing an initiative to establish cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation with particular attention and interest, emphasizing that there is broad potential for developing concrete and mutually beneficial partnerships.
A delegation from Tatarstan will visit Republika Srpska within the next 15 days, when the areas and projects of mutual interest will be more precisely defined. By that time, the Ministry of Energy and Mining will prepare a list of potential areas and projects for possible cooperation and present them during the official visit of the Republic of Tatarstan's delegation to Republika Srpska. On the sidelines of the 15th International Industrial Trade Fair "INNOPROM" in Yekaterinburg, during a meeting between Minister Đokić and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Oleg Vladimirovich Korobchenko, mutual interest was expressed in establishing and developing cooperation between Republika Srpska and Tatarstan, primarily in the fields of the chemical industry, ferrous metallurgy, energy, mining, as well as in the sectors of education and culture, the Ministry of Energy and Mining of Srpska said in a statement. During his stay in Yekaterinburg, Đokić met with Metropolitan Evgeny of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye. Đokić, who is visiting Yekaterinburg in the Sverdlovsk Region of the Russian Federation, had earlier held a meeting with the leadership of the Ural Federal University. Minister Đokić's visit to Yekaterinburg represents a continuation of efforts to strengthen international cooperation and connect Republika Srpska with partner institutions in Russia. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the University of East Sarajevo, the statement said.
