WITHOUT OBA'S EFFORTS, POLITICAL-LEGAL VIOLENCE AGAINST SRPSKA'S LEADERSHIP WOULDN'T HAVE ENDED

SARAJEVO, JULY 16 /SRNA/ – Chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Nikola Špirić, told SRNA that without the efforts of the Intelligence-Security Agency /OBA/ of BiH, the political and legal pressure against the leadership of Republika Srpska would not have come to an end.

Špirić believes that OBA Director Almir Džuvo demonstrated statesmanlike behavioUr when he recently drove the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, to the BiH Prosecutor’s Office. "I believe OBA was simply doing its job, and Džuvo acted with statesmanship. If others had behaved like OBA director, we might not have even gone through this phase of political-legal violence against the President of Republika Srpska and the Srpska leadership," Špirić said. He noted that the parliamentary Joint Security and Intelligence Committee for the Oversight of the Intelligence – Security Agency of BiH would be discussing the matter later today.
